over 50% of New Yorkers believe the government had something to do with it, 68% of Americans nationally believe that something more transpired.. and 85% of internationals asked believe that America's war on terror, stemming from 9/11 is self induced ?

Please don't respond by saying that "we need to let it rest, for the sake of the families of the victims.. out of respect". That is exactly why we need to get to the bottom of the events that day.. and it's not just that 3000 people from the tower, there's nearly 3000 American troops, plus thousands of Iraqi and Afghan citizens.

Check out all of these stories on here for yourself..

I hate the bush administration and most republicans. But I hate illegal immigrants and the notion that welfare is a way of life. Can I possibly agree with you knuckle heads on some issues? I think I do. Does this make me a moderate?

And how is the war in Afghanistan going? I'd surely like to know that the events of 5 years ago, and all of the money spent, resulted in a victory, and a capture. How about you? Please, stick to the question, and no rhetoric on how we got there to begin with. I prefer to look forward...

For example, the supposed son who called his mother (and used his full name, asking her if she believed him...) - how was that call recorded? I make cell phone calls every day, and none of them are recorded in thin air. I'm sure the mother wasn't like, "oh, you're in grave danger? Let me get my tape recorder so I can record our conversation."

This seems like an obvious question, but I hadn't even thought about it until now, nor have I heard anyone else ask/answer it.

For example can you ignore them as they're not 'real' police?
Would you get in the same trouble for thumping them as you would with regular police officers?
Have they got any actual power over you?

Each attack is more devistating in nature and to upgrade this one is to nuke something .
I for one am glad i am over 30 miles from a port city This may provide some safety but for the tens of millions of americans that live in these high target areas are they truly safe or is it only a matter of time .
IS it just a matter of time till some port city and its inhabitants are hit by terrorists .
How safe is hoover dam or our nuclear facilities .ARE you safer with our troops over sea's stiring up the emotions of millions of islamics as members of there faith are being killed in huge numbers in Iraq and Afganistan. Are we safer now today then 5 years ago or will we see the next attack soon and shake our heads again wondering who or what to attack to get even .

Not Bush's, but Clintons?

" In December 1997, a delegation from Afghanistan’s ruling and ruthless Taliban visited the United States to meet with an oil and gas company that had extensive dealings in Texas. The company, Unocal, was interested in building a natural gas line through Afghanistan. Moore implies that Bush, who was then governor of Texas, met with the delegation.

But, as Gannett News Service points out, Bush did not meet with the Taliban representatives. What’s more, Clinton administration officials did sit down with Taliban officials, and the delegation’s visit was made with the Clinton administration’s permission."

** Dixie Chicks going overseas and cutting down America.
** Michael Moore making such bad and inaccurate "movies".
** Alec Baldwin - slimy - WHEN are you going to move?
** Ted Kennedy - have another drink (and give one to your dysfunctional kids too) and SHUT UP
** Bill Clinton - lied about sex and just about everything else _ you MARRIED a lesbian and you have to live with the consequences.
The list is endless...I am just sick thinking about them.

Maybe it's just too early for celebration or what ever "spin word" our government wants to tag on it, but this idea of an "event" just leaves me flat. Is this just another for of fearmongering by the Bush gang?

Before the "rabid right" attacks, my son was there in 2001. So please try to keep the venom in check.

As a mid forty-something I was taught manners. I always smile or say hello when I walk the dog. Most people don't acknowledge my friendliness. It is common courtesy to at least acknowledge this simple gesture. Are we a country afraid to be polite?

•Sadam Hussein was accused of possessing weapons of mass destruction but he did not.
•He was accused of having a link with al-Qaeda but he never had.
•He was accused of plotting an attack on America but he actually offered to make friends with USA. President Bush refused or rather afraid to meet him.
•His removal from power by force has caused so much destruction in Iraq that America and Britain are solely responsible for the holocaust in that country! They are also responsible for its complete reconstruction.
•The trial of Sadam should end forthwith and he should be set free immediately.
• In fact, if he is given a second chance to assume power, he would be able to bring back normalcy in Iraq within one month!

I am glad we had a strong Republican leader like GWB in office during this perilous time.
Clinton or Carter NEVER would have stood up to terror. They are sissy girly-men who do not/did not have the guts to stand up to threats to our country.
Reagan could have handled it too.
