Of course they do! Does anyone really think it's just a coincidence that gas prices are dropping just before an election? They're saying it's because the summer driving season is over, but why this year and not last year too? Watch what happens to prices in December and January, regardless of who wins. They won't come down again until the 2008 elections.

confident, yet smoke and mirrors is all the republicans comprehend. Obama has been looking too stable meaning yet another Democrat will probably get picked as president in 2016 so the Republican are going after his cabinet... Hillary, the IRS, Rice and Eric Holder. Why ought to the tea occasion get political welfare interior the 1st place. we are actual getting to understand lots extra approximately those 501 C-4 political communities who're utilising tax shelters for financial benefit than the tea occasion ever needed us to comprehend. dark money can circulate the tea occasion's coffers without disclosures and that they do no longer ought to pay taxes. possibly we ought to continuously all call ourselves political businesses so we don't ought to pay taxes next twelve months with the aid of fact the IRS isn't allowed to question your income or look into it. basically fill out a 501 C-4 style and supply your self a political sounding call. confident, becoming jobs which might help the financial gadget ought to be each ones priority yet while Boehner and the tea occasion congress did that Obama and the Democrats could look stable...paving the way for Hillary or yet another Democratic candidate to win in 2016. Plus, the Capitalists do no longer prefer to deliver the jobs back from China. Wal Mart has basically been named the wealthiest employer interior the international beating out huge oil for the 1st time in an prolonged time. Is does seem as though various the smoke is blowing up of their very own faces. i think of it's time to Benghazi Boehner on his subject on jobs.

Residents in the USA pay about one-half the going rate for gasoline as compared to the rest of the world. This is a result of long term petroleum prices negotiated with domestic suppliers as well as our major suppliers in Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia.
"Spot prices" that we read about so often are just for a fractional amount of the world supply of oil and have very little influence on prices you pay at the pump.
Pump prices have gone up due to the weakness of the US Dollar as compared to other world currencies. When adjusted for inflation, US consumers aren't paying any more than they ever did - indeed, the adjusted cost of gasoline today is lower than it was in 1982.
Supposedly the demand for gasoline has gone down now due to the end of summer, and meanwhile home heating oil demand is low until we get more into winter.
Thus we get back to the basic economic law of supply and demand.

Gasoline prices always decline after Labor Day. This year prices started dipping before labor day to encourage more people to drive.
Plus don't give American voters that much credit. They are unlikely to notice small incremental decreases and equally unlikely to remember them 8 weeks before elections. A large decrease, 25 to 30 cents 14 to 10 days before the polls open is a different story.

Okay, Mr.Oxford Man, blah blah blah blah. Your credentials are indeed impressive. You have been brainwashed well. But you will not convince the American public that our gas prices are anything other than what it IS- the arrogant greediness of those in power at the expense of the people.
Yes, of course, they try to throw us all kinds of table scraps to get our votes, or to try to make it look like they are human after all. It's hilarious.

do you feel compelled to vote republican since the prices went down?
please please tell me you are not that gullible.
both the republicans and democrats will do anything to get into or retain power,
when will the sheep learn that both parties are different sides to the same coin?
they are just in it for the power.
time to vote both out and put in place people who believe in the country,
not the business of politics
not the business of the country
not the business of business
they are there to govern. not to run a business.
3rd party all the way.

More like they are telling us who has the real power and as long as we glutons for the gas pay for it the longer they will have the power.Pretty sad to think about knowing no one will actually do
anything about it.
