did bush help NY more or did the mayor of NY do most of the job at that time..?
some people say it was the mayor who did more for the people than bush.

I believe everybody did what they could.. Giuliani,the Mayor of NY , took control of the situation in his city and brought order to chaos, Not many people can do that. The President , the leader of this country, had a country he needed to defend, if you remember,NY was not the only place that was hit. This is NOT the time to continue your Bush bashing , this is a time to understand the events of 9/11 and pray it doesn't happen again. So to answer your question both men did what they had to , and both men should be respected for their service to their communities and the USA on 9/11.

Mayor Giuliani showed why we should Never tolerate an incompetent blamer like Ray Nagin in New Orleans. This is comparable of the best of the best vs. the worst of the worst. Nagin told Bush and FEMA to f-off and then he put them in that coliseum and blamed Bush and FEMA for what He did. Just the very worst of the worst folks. And then he goes to NYC and belittles Mayor Giuliani and the Hero's of NYC.

I SEEN A TAPE ON IT LAST NIGHT THAT REALLY MADE SINCE TO ME AND I SAY ALL OF THEM HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT I DONT REMEMBER THE SIGHT BUT IT WAS AN HOUR AND 20 MIN LONG BUT IT MADE SINCE THAT THEY ALL HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT ON THE TAPE IT SHOWED THE TOWERS FALLING BUT ABOUT 10 FEEL UNDER EACH BUILDINGS THERE WAS EXPLOSIONS ON EACH FLOOR AND EATHER ONE OR TWO WEEK BEFORE THEY TOOK THE BOMB DOGS OUT HMMM THAT'S NOY ALL THEY WAS ALSO HAVING DRILLS ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE IT HAPPEN AND UNDER NEATH THE TOWERS THERE WAS GOLD NOW IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BEEN LIKE 6 OR 7 BILLION DOLLARS BUT WHEN THEY CLEANED IT UP THEY FOUND A TRUCK WITH 1.2 BILLIONS IN THE BACK OF IT COVERED UP THE OWNER OF THE TOWER TOOK OUT A 20 BILLION DOLLAR INSURANCE BUT HER ONLY GOT 2.2 BILLION IN 2004 OH YEA THE PRES. WAS IN ON IT TO I DON'T REMEMBER HOW BUT IF YOU SEARCH YOU WILL FIND IT OR IF I FIND IT I WILL RESPOND AGAIN

I would say it was the NYPD and NYFSD whose dedicated personnel that did most of the job helping the affected people, even at the cost of losing their own lives!

Sure it was the mayor...Guliani was a great Mayor. It's a shame he had to leave.
