why do we need different partys ie labour / conservative / bnp / etc why cant everything go to a public referendum so that the british people have the final say in the running of the country .

Iran has made no secret of its ultimate goal -- to destroy the world and thus usher in the 12th Imam -- the arrival of the Islamic messiah. I'm concerned (ha! what an understatement!) that the US will hesitate and hesitate to deal with Iran until WHAMMO -- Iran cuts loose and it's too late for us to do anything. I hope I'm wrong. Perhaps the US will unleash all manner of fury when it realizes that Iran 1) means business and 2) is equipped to carry out their threats. What do you think?

My fiance has various misdemeanors from when he was younger.
He was doing drugs at the time but has been clean for years. He wants a better life for himself, and I. With a good job, and sometime in the future buying a home. How can he do these things with his past criminal record?

Is there anything he can do to clear his criminal record?
Does it clear from minor things after a certain amount of years?

with all of the stupid people in this country i only want out. I am moving and not looking back. Call me a traitor but at least i wasnt reading a book to children while the towers were coming down! if you people like that leadership good luck! When the next attack comes I will be watching on Canadian tv. I truly understand why people dont like america and think they are stupid! Because its true! your children are dying in a foreign land for oil while your paying $3 at the pump.

What research would you have that refutes this?

Scientists are saying it's a threat. Here's the article-

"New research is raising concerns that global warming may be triggering a self-perpetuating climate time bomb trapped in once-frozen permafrost.
As the Earth warms, greenhouse gases once stuck in the long-frozen soil are bubbling into the atmosphere in much larger amounts than previously anticipated, according to a study in Thursday's journal Nature.

Methane trapped in a special type of permafrost is bubbling up at a rate five times faster than originally measured, the journal said.

Scientists are fretting about a global warming vicious cycle that had not been part of their already gloomy climate forecasts: Warming already underway thaws permafrost, soil that had been continuously frozen for thousands of years."

I am a 27 year old single mother of two. I recently have had to seperate my daughter from her father's side of the family do to "unusual" behaviors. And the father and I went our seprete ways. Now his sister has started stalking my daughter at school. I made a report to the police as well as informed them about her harrasing phone calls and letters to my home. I had to change my dauters school, change my number, and just last saturday she sent the police to my home yeilding guns and made a false report about myself making terristic threats and vandalising her car! What can I do, Please Help Me! Im thinking about the best interest of my children! She is odviously obsessed with my daughter, is this a common thing? She has scared my daughter to death! What legal action can i take against her? I don't know what she will do next.

i had a sub at school today and he was talkin about how u.s. money is based on debt and is unconstitutional. and prices keep goin up because the dollar is worth less and not because other things are worth more. and how the u.s. is going to go through hyperinflation within the next 10 years. and how china has like bilions of dollars in u.s. money and they're not doing anything with it and then they're gonna decide they want gold and all of that money will come back to the u.s. and the prices will skyrocket because the dollar is worth less.

Overweight people cost the NHS £4.6Billion a year through treatment, rehab, care, special home equipment and death. This is serious money that could be reinvested into education, health care and other vital resources that are shockingly underfunded.

I don't get it. Why is Chavez of Venezuela so buddy buddy with Ahmadinejad? What does Israel, a mid-east country have to do with Venezuela? My opinion is that if you start trouble with another country, ie. Lebanon with Israel, you should be prepared to handle the consequences of your war. I'm Canadian- so do I say something like "Thanks to the Americans in Afganistan- who motivated NATO to send an international military force there- we have more than just the Taliban to fight... Thats right! Yet another Canadian troop was killed this week when his unit- deep into a fight with the Taliban- was bombed by an American jet!!!
