Well Robert, they can sneak across at anytime and if they get caught...it's an air conditioned bus ride back across the border for tomorrow's journey. I have been thru the inspecton stops and most of the time they just wave you thru never really checking anything! It's sad. The prime example of overpaid and underworked. My thinking is it should be like deer season here in Wisconsin...Unless you are a Mong from Minnesota!

Because the borders of our nation are so long that it would be prohibitively expensive to effectively monitor/police the border.

And the enticements/wages that American employers provide for illegal immigrants to make the journey easily outweigh the consequences of being caught and sent back home.

Because no one has used my idea yet....it is my theory that if we have 2 fences with lions in between them (that are not fed very often) that this will stop illegal immigrants from passing over. I do not think there should be any warning either. A huge sign saying "CROSS AT YOUR OWN RISK." is all that is needed.

Have you noticed how long our borders are on the north and south? It makes it almost impossible to keep people from crossing if they want to.
