I understand majority (anybody know percent?) of illegal aliens are Mexicans HOWEVER majority of Mexicans are not illegal aliens.

Why do people still feel the need to show hatred towards them?

Ok first off only a very small percentage of produce is actually picked...what are we living in the 19th century? We have these things called agricultural machines. Strawberries...grapes...and..oranges..are picked..hardly slave labor

maybey 5% of all produce is picked if you include organic

I'm in college now, and it seems like a doghouse out there. See I go to a community college, and I have been in college for a while since I have been going part time. I am seeing a change in college education. I used to believe that if government gave grants ($you don’t have to pay back) to people who could not afford college then more people would be educated and have more knowledgeable. I feel that i'm wrong now. See when I went to college they were playing loud music and I could not understand the words cause it was in Spanish. People were all over the place yelling and carrying on and dancing to this ethnic music. I thought college was supposed to be for learning and studying, not all this crap. I also think that college may be easier now because it has to be to pass these people and to get more money from the government. Am I right about this? Is our federal government ruining college education?If the government stays out of college education, would it benefit hard working people?

in general regardless if they are illegal or not? It's really sad to see so much hatred spewed on Yahoo Answers and the worst part is that it's mainly based on racism and not on any sound arguments. There are other minorities in this country and it seems like Mexicans are easy targets for everyone. Let's try to have a constructive debate instead of shock value rants and raves.

I've been working for a communication company for a year now. I'm supposed to work 8hrs a day. With the work load I have it takes from 15 to 20 hours to get it done. Everyone I work with tells me a do a heck of job, specially when handling so much with less resources; but upper management things I'm doing horribly they don’t even look at what I do. I admit I'm not perfect at what I do and I mess up time to time. However I can clearly prove I have been doing my job and they keep putting more and more too point I can't handle it. I know most would say just leave and find another job. I refuse to accept that, if they fire me I want compensation for the troubles they will cause me. Can I take them to court if I can prove I been doing my job and doing it correctly?

If he stays at our place and goes out at night without our knowledge (we're sleeping) and gets hurt or does something illegal, would I, myself, as the girlfriend be held legally liable? Please help - this is a major problem with my boyfriend and me - and his son is coming to stay this weekend. He's 14 and already has been getting into minor, but still, trouble.
