"U.S. congressional leaders are giving up on broad immigration legislation that would legalize millions of illegal immigrants and instead will concentrate on border security ahead of the elections, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said on Wednesday."

Kennedy is pissed, but at least Frist seems to want to reenter the fold (Presidential aspirations intact... he hopes....)

have had my recent job for nearly 6 years. I am now on maternity leave (in my 2nd 6 month entiltment) and am currently entitled to absolutley nothing. Do you think this is fair ?? How can you even justify having a hard working person pay more in taxes than someone who chooses not to work hard and get an education?
