There is a mindset which says never say anything bad about a jew, which derives from a misguided feeling of collective guilt left over from WW2 and you have a sense of politcal servitude to jews in the US. If one says anything bad about a jew he is branded an "anti-Semite" and guitly of a hate crime; politicians stumble all over themselves to show how much they are willing to help the jews; the jews manage to get 3-4 billion US taxpayer dollars (as grants that they NEVER HAVE TO PAY BACK!) every year for military use so they can better bomb and kill Arabs. None of this makes any sense, but it all stems from this assumed guilt for Nazi atrocities and a rabid desire to make nice to jews. It is totally wrong to do so, since the jews in the Middle East now are virtually Nazis themselves.

My theory is a misguided sense of guilt over not stopping the holocaust. However the last week or so Ive been doing some reading and think I may have the answer.Money.I'll be specific though. If you go back to the time when Israel was formed it was around the time that oil production started picking up in the Middle East. The jews lived in peace throughout arab countries for centuries with no problem. However after wrongly being given palestinian land, they caused problems, because why should they have their own land? They are a religion not a group of people. They start these horrible things with arab nations, wanting more and more land, making the arabs feel threatened.Say awful things like palestinians are dogs and not an actual race of people, even though they lived there for 2,000 thousand years, kick them out of their homes at gunpoint, discriminate against them jobwise and every other way possible, and it obviously causes conflict. With the ensuing conflict the US and England are able to muscle their way in, put governments that are pro west into place and secure oil rights. So by supporting Israel at all costs we ensure conflict in the middle east that we benefit from. Everything is tied to money and that will never change.So.Its.WRONG.

I don't support Israel, I think some of them are as bad as some of these terrorists with the bombings and such. I think it goes back to WW2 and the Holocaust, not to mention the Jews constantly being persecuted by other cultures ( but hey, what do you expect when you go around saying you are God's chosen? You're bound to piss a few people off.)

Because of the Jewish lobby and not in Americas best interests or for supporting a just cause.
Israel is a just cause. The Jews have every right to have their homeland ,their state -without minorities to bug them- in their historical borders and live in peace ,like everyone else.
However there are many just causes in the world today ,but the USA chooses to support only this one and conveniently ignore the rest.
Is it in Americas best interests?I doubt it.Oil is on the other side. And you are at war .....

Why don't Muslims in general riot in the streets in protest every time a horrific terrorist attack happens when cartoons of Muhammad spark such a reaction. The answer for both your question and mine my friend, is Nepotism.

The US doesn't say exactly why, but I always thought it was bc of the bible saying the Israeli people are god's chosen people. I just think that's wrong.

Let's go back to the Bible. The Israelis are God's chosen people!! The Palestians live where Satan is chained for thousand years!! When Jesus come, He will collect his people first!! It's in revelations!!
