to join I could enlist as a P.F.C. instead of just a private. So how could I convince people to join with me? P.S. If your considering a career in the marines could you please try and contact me before you talk to a recruiter?

In ALL Forces you can gain some small rank gain with this program as long as you get it in writing. I am waiting to go in, but I have already made sure I have my 2 recruits. As far as a way to get more people to enlist, try talking to your friends and family. I have inmates where their family members have asked me about joining because they have seen me @ work and also seen me out exercising before and after work. Live like you want people to see you and you will get people interested in what you are doing.

And for whoever said it Semper Fie, It's Semper Fi short for Semper Fidelis.

As far as I know, the only way to get an Advanced Paygrade is to complete 3 or more years of NROTC in High School. Army, Navy, and Air Force give you the Pay-Grade of E-3. Marines is E-2.

Recruiter might have lied. BUT, if you get buddies to enlist, you can use the Buddy Program they offer, which allows them to stay with you through Boot Camp.

more desirable than in all probability your recruter will tender each thing over for you. i replaced into courting a guy on the behind time table get admission to application, and he were given busted on commencement nighttime with marijuana and stuff even as he fell asleep on someone's' backyard contained in the technique the nighttime. surely because he replaced into going into the Marines, they basically dropped all the prices someway. Kinda pissed him off cuz he did not favor to bypass in anymore, yet b/c of this that they had him with the help of the you know what. So he both went in or they were gonna truly hammer him for the charge. because you surely did not cease at a cease signal, i imagine you'd be a ok

I Can tell you this you aren't **** until you earn it. You are in the Army or in the Navy or in the Air Force, but you have to earn the right to be a Marine You dont just become one because you signed up . Don't worry you'll be proud to be a Marine Semper Fie and good luck ! Don't worry about your friends you'll have more brothers than you can count in 9 weeks. You will be fine

that's true...but if I were you I'd talk to the Navy to see if it's too late to switch teams. You get the same deal out of them too when you have your friends join, but you can also study and take a test in boot camp that will allow you to advance to E2 as well...also if you have 15 credits of college you come in as an E2 and if you have 30 credits of college you come in as an E3...just a thought

Besides, you'll be chillin' out on a ship instead of getting shot at

Just be honest with them. DO NOT LIE. Your best bet is to ask your recruiter for some help. Most likely he will let you help out around the office or go out to schools with him and he will help you get those 2 referrals, even if they are really 2 guys he picked up on his own.

I did this too. I just talked to people about it. Friends of friends who were thinking about joining the military. Mentioned the buddy program, physical benefits and finacial benefits i.e college tuition and stuff. Also, they don't have to go active they can join the reserves and you still get credit.

Semper Fi!

I only know about the Army. You have to have at least 45 college credit hours to be a rank higher than PVT.
