Since the group is so large, and participation is the only yahoo.com goal, yes.

Free speech will always be messy, unregulated, and an ongoing battle to be heard and listened to. I'll put up with what I think is bad because there are ideas and thoughts that need the light of day.

Of course. People give thumbs down to posts that do not support their own political ideologies, regardless of how well thought out, supported, or relevant they are to the question.

Heaven forbid someone challenge their beliefs!

I can't say what other people are doing but it sure seems like it. As with everything else it's up or down depending on your political party.
