I suppose you are seeing an increase in voter turn out among African Americans as a backlash against our current administration, which seems to exude a callous apathy for the plight of minorities. Whether this marginalization of colored people, by this administration, is real or imagined is anyone’s guess. Whatever the case maybe, the negative perception of the black community, towards the Bush administration is eliciting more and more political involvement among African Americans.
It maybe a good sign. Maybe they are finally coming to the conclusion, which they should have come to a long time ago, that whining will not take you very far, and that hard work geared towards politically oriented change is the most efficient things to get things going your way.

Because they been killed and mistreated by the anglos for over 400 years! Sooner or later, they'll be runing the country! They been slaves, their names were taken away!!! They were started being treated like humans, in 1964!!
