I am a conservative Republican.

I do not like the way most liberals think and I honestly can't understand them.
I live in a blue state but my county and city are Republican by a tremendous majority. My county, as reported at the time of the last election, is the highest concentration of Republicans in the nation - 98%.

I am a Democrat. I vote in every election, even if it's just a local bond issue. I suspect there are more Republicans on Answers because I have been seriously lambasted here for my passive and non-aggressive political points of view. Ask a question that may be perceived as not supporting George Bush and you will be verbally attatcked (so to speak) for exercising your right to have a different opinion in a supposed free country. You will be called names, cussed at and put down.

Wikipedia this: "South Park Republican"

I pretty much hate liberals and democrats because they're annoying as hell. Conservatives can be just as annoying, but I get along with them a lot better.

I switched affiliations a few years ago from Dem to Rep.

I do not vote party lines however... I will vote for the person I think will do the better job.

Neither. I can't tolerate either party, especially given their track record. But what's sad is that the questiona implies the assumption that the are only those two parties.

Think independently. Vote Libertarian.

My own. There is a saying that roughly goes like this:

" If you can do something yourself, then do it, do not trust others if you want results"
