While I can understand it gets their party in the papers, doesn't it just degrade the integrity of the party?

If I remember my America history correctly, Americas did not orginally own a part of the North America. We kind of exproperated in from its rightful owners. So, that seems to me to be stealling. I think compensation should be paid to all Native Americans for past failings of immigrates to what became the United States from Europe including France and all the other folks that came from Africa and the rest of the world to live on the land of the American Indian. What do you all think?
How about 100,000.00 dollars from every crying conservatives in the Country.
Furthermore, this screaming about the borders makes conservatives red in the face to change the subject from the economy and the Iraq War which they have lost.
You see it don't you fellow liberals, the repubs all in row yelling "immigrates are no good!!!!!" Yeah, but better than conservatives.

The Food and Drug Administration approved an application today making the long-debated emergency contraceptive Plan B, commonly known as the "morning-after pill", available without a prescription to women 18 and older.
The FDA said Barr Laboratories, the maker of Plan B, could begin selling the drug.
Many social conservatives in and out of Congress have battled to keep the drug from becoming available without a prescription. Some say that could encourage promiscuity, and others say use of the pill causes a very early abortion. Their position had for almost three years trumped an overwhelming medical and scientific consensus that the drug could be safety dispensed by a pharmacist without a prescription. Why do the Conservatives always try to put road blocks in front of issues related to women’s health issues, without having the right facts?

Border War, the Battle over Illegal Immigration, a documentary about border issues that features U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth, comes to the Valley today for a two-day engagement.

Kevin Knoblock wrote and directed the documentary, which looks at illegal immigration through the lives of five people affected by it: a widow whose husband was killed by an undocumented immigrant, a Border Patrol agent, an open-border advocate, a Minuteman and Hayworth. Knoblock is also the director of Celsius 41.11, a rebuttal film to Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11.

Border War will play today and Wednesday at Harkins Scottsdale 101, near the southwestern corner of Scottsdale Road and Loop 101.

It will move to a Nogales theater Saturday and Sunday before it opens in Washington D.C., Washington and Texas.

I propose to round up all Democrats and force them to mate with Blacks until all Democrats are pretty black. Then we'll have a excuse to ship them to Africa and getting rid of Democrats once for all.

Agressive wars are war crimes and to intentionally create a false basis for an aggressive war is an act of high treason. So why is this country letting Bush now come up with another false basis for attacking Iran?

HMMMMM!! SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT????!!!!!!

Let's say I break into your house

A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!

It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and
I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know.

And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a
fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me.

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America....if you agree, pass it on (in English). Share it if you see the value of it as a good smile. If not blow it off along with your future Social Security funds, and a lot of other things.

What kind of countrified rube still thinks that a member of Muqtada Al Sadr's Al Mehdi Army going off to kill civilians in a Sunni neighborhood in Baghdad gives a rat's snotball or is even aware of what rights are granted in the US Constitution? And if the Iraq War really is the central front in World War III between Christianity and Islam why has President Bush never asked us to do anything more than go shopping?

Any true believers out there, can you elaborate or back up the belief that the Sunnis and Shiites are in civil war because they hate OUR freedom?

I love the Coffee at Dunkin Donuts and every time I see one I have to stop for coffee. Recently I stopped at one in Glen Burnie, Maryland and on the side of the building was a sticker that said "Bush Lies". That really bothers me. My question is, is that legal? I personally feel that the sticker should be taken off and the forenors running that Dunkin Donuts should be told not to put it back up.
