It's sad, yes. But think of it this way. At least we are fighting the war on terror on their ground. Remember 9/11? How quickly people forget that over 3000 people died almost simultaneously.

I just have one question. If we were not over there, killing terrorists and yes, loosing American lives, how many would have died on our streets today from IED, suicide bombers or car bombs???

If we sit on our do nothing, like we did for several years, until 911, then they will be here like they are daily in Spain, France, Israel and many other countries around the world.

If you live in a hick town, you wont have anything to worry about, but if you live in a city like Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, New York or Atlanta, you too could be a target.

Unless you have a plan to stop these people cold, you better support our troops and pray like hell we can bring them home soon.

You strike me as one of those bleeding heart liberals who think its not politically correct to stand up for what is right with this country. I put you in the same class as the shoe bomber, Hanoi Jane and Hanoi Hannah.

That tends to happen in war... I spent two years over there. You do your best and that's about all you can do.

The truth of the matter is this: overall military death tolls have been MUCH lower since the start of the war. We lose more military to alcohol related accidents than nearly anything else. When we're over there, away from the drinking and driving, everyone seems to live much longer.

His last two are correct as it is in military reports as well as media.

The others are not verified nor can they be seeing as "indipendant" sites are labeling US Soldiers as "Dead" without cause.

One of his posts said Soldiers had died and it turned out to be Iraqi Soldiers. This guy is working with only 10% of the information and passing the other 90 off as true.

Most of his sources....

We did much better in Vietnam, and could lose more. The point you are trying to make is that the war is stupid...O.K. but no one here is going to be able to change it...how about some emails to your representatives?

That sucks.

And how many Americans died on 9-11-01?

More than 14, I think.
