The base philosophy would be that politicians do what is best for the country and not for any self-centered personal gain.

We would make the government more responsive by elimination wasteful practices, reducing or eliminatin subsidies, looking into rental of properties (leasing buildings that no one uses, but still paying on), voting against pay increases for the Congress and putting the emphasis of government where it belongs..

i would call our party the Home Force

A third party could prove as corrupt as any party in office. I suggest we take the time and find out who they are. We elected Clinton knowing he was a womanizer then shocked when he misbehaved. We elected Bush knowing he had, had a problem drinking. The Low Self Esteem[recognized as a root of alcoholism] shows in Pres. Bushs' arrogance when he announced America would go it alone in invading Iraq. Then found little support in rebuilding. Often termed "Bully" people with low self esteem often compensate for inferior feelings by arrogance and bulliness.

My ideal third party would have 3 parts to its base philosophy: the US Constitution, telling the truth - the whole truth - and nothing but the truth, and maximum self-reliance. No slackers, moral relativists, wannabe tyrants, or welfare suckups (corporate or individual) allowed.

The Independent Party (which already exists by the way). It would just be a moderate blend of Democrat & Republican parties. We all have good ideas, we just need to be able to put them into action without the extremist sides of each sticking their noses in for control.

Freedom For Peace, it would be a political party that could take a pay cut, to donate to people who need it. A party who would ONLY go to war to defend it's own country, not to invade a different country that hasn't even Attacked ours. And only to help people in genocide in other countries

Somebody beat me to it. The Libertarians.

Minimal government, low taxes, maximal personal liberties, strong civil rights protections, strong on personal responsibility and accountability, no free handouts, no corporate welfare, strong on defense (but opposed to invasions and nation-building).

First party I ever saw where I agreed with all of their goals, and over 90% of the means they want to use to get there.
