I am considering starting an online petition for a two-tiered internet as apposed to the "net neutrality" issue that has arisen as of late... how can i start a petition that is completely legal and that can be sent to the government in an effort to persuade them? Thanks

The Democratic Party, every other party they can work with bi-partisanly that has tollarble philosphical differnces, non-governmental organizations, engineers, scienetists, Move.org and all of the online community and the public that wants to participate should hold a confrence to fix (and i mean really actually fix) the katrina recovery effort and make the whole damaged area better then new as a templete to fix disaster stricken city's and areas and also to get people in the south and all over the country to vote in some progressive platforms and policies when they see it can work for katrina, they'll see it can work for anything if people vote it in and give the effort to see it implamented.

A President can only run for 2 terms. There's nothing in our law that says he can't run as a Vice President under someone who runs for President. Perhaps, his wife as President and him as VP. What's your opinion on this and would you vote for the ticket with him and whoever runs with him?

Sam is drunk and asked to leave a Hotel by the owner. He then goes around to the back of the Hotel and climbs a fence and tries to enter the private residence at the back of the Hotel. The owner hears him, and frightened for his family beats Sam over the head with a heavy piece of wood. Sam is badly injured and goes to hospital where his mother sees him and suffers serious shock. Both Sam & his mother sue the owner of the Hotel for compensation

Hi I recently was working as a delivery assistant ...deliverying washing machines, fridges, plasma tvs etc.. from 17th April 2006 until August 7th 2006 basically I was offered another job and was going to hand my notice in on the 7th but as I'd injured my back watersking on the 6th i wasn't fit to go in to work as it required heavy lifting. I therefore told them this and said i won't be able to come in today as i've injured my back and probably won't be fit for the week! I them gave them my notice over the phone and send a letter in writing. the week after this 14th - 18th august was meant to be my holiday. please help me out.......if i am entitled to it what do i do because they haven't paid me it! cheers :o)

I am just shocked to read some responses about political questions. I find it so pathetic how people whole-heartedly stand up for our government and their behavior and demean people who bring up corruption or anything negative. I can't stand how so many people follow our leaders so blindly and argue for them, but don't know a thing about what this war, the government, or history. They call us "liberals" like it's a dirty word, but they don't even know the definition of liberal. What are all these people going to do when they wake up and realize they too are being lied to and manipulated? What is with the ignorance? It's like so many people hold strong to a religion such as Christianity, but have never read the Bible. Is it "normal" for people to just believe what they see or hear?

think of the reality of warfare. Rascism. unfair distribution of wealth and difference from workers class, race, and labor type, making the manual laborer more of a tool, while the intellect whom was given everything too and or/ exploited for earning and profits makes the best of the situation. it was a proven fact by Karl Marx and you may either see a Utopia to the matter wich Nationalism portrays and Capitalism, or see the reality everywhere you look. the police, "Protect and Serve" capitalism....why the "minorities" to be labled as from first being brought here and coming here illegal or not. majority is black and hispanic. diabetes is most common due to poverty and with poverty comes harsh living conditions. Fast food restaurants such as Mc Donalds and Jack in the box are most common in poverty stricken enviroments...olive gardens, dining restaurants, subways and bigger more healthier and ofcourse more expensive nurishment is found in richer areas, ruling class or middle class....

we live in a country founded on the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

but our bill of rights entrenches personal liberty and freedoms. being alive is really the bare minimum if people have the ability to silence you and take your property away.

is it acceptable for the government to listen to everything you say without your knowledge?

is there a limit to what you can say about the president or the government?

do i have the right to make my own beliefs and state them?

these three all hinge on each other: will i say what i think about the government when the government can arrest me for doing so?

do we have to make this choice?

When looking through governmental treatises, documents, and studies, I often see this term, but cannot find a definition for it. I don't know what they mean - different articles seem to use this term in different ways.
