Americans enjoy criticizing their leaders, and tend to forget that this is not always allowed in other nations. In history, it was rare to nonexistent. It's a bit more common now, especially in Europe. I still wouldn't try it in China.
Bush has made bad decisions, one after the other, in quick succession. He lost his first "election," and was shoved into office by a coup. Then he behaved as though he had a mandate, which is the part that irked me. He barely won his second election, and again pretended he had a mandate. He serves the rich and cares nothing for the environment. He has a fundamentalist mindset and has done nothing to bring the country together, quite the opposite. The gaps between right and left, rich and poor, continue to widen.
After 9/11, the country wanted revenge against Arabs, any Arabs, whether or not they were the ones who had attacked us. Bush could have been a leader and urged calm, but instead he fanned the flames and involved us in a disastrous war based on lies. We had a great deal of sympathy and goodwill from the international community following the attack, but Bush squandered it... and it was infinitely more valuable than money. It would have translated to money, too, if it had been used correctly.
Global warming is a fact and the Kyoto Accords offered at least a chance to turn things around. Bush said no.
Dubya is retarded, an idiot, a moron. He's Ted Baxter without the jokes. He ruins everything he touches. He is a national embarrassment.
Bill Clinton was silly to engage in his stupid affair with Lewinski, but the country itself prospered and was respected around the world. Clinton was a trillion times better than Bush.

Perhaps they believe in leaving sleeping dogs lie. Everybody who hasn't been self absorbed the last 40 years knows that invading other countries that haven't attacked you only gets a long pointless commitment that will only go badly. Well whata ya know they were right those french guys, woulda thunk it? It's not that bush gets criticized it's how often on so many different subjects he is criticized and bush's refusal to admit he was wrong and then learn from the mistakes makes this characteristic new in a president and it turns out to be one he should dump immediately.

I think you're right. The other countries should pitch in and...
HELP US REMOVE BUSH FROM OFFICE! That greedy cowboy messed up Texas, then he went on to mess up the US, then the REST OF THE WORLD!
We have hunger and homelessness in growing numbers, the laws have been manipulated to make things hard on anyone who doesn't make at least $100,000 a year, the police are becomning abusive in areas, the healthcare system is a wreck, our budet, which Clinton had put in the black is now so far in the red that we may never get it back under control, Bush lied to the public about weapons of mass destruction (which we have PLENTY of, by the way) to start his greedy little oil war, he's using 9/11, a single incident, to try to scare people into willingly giving up their rights. Now why wouldn't anyone just LOVE this man?

Now that Europe no longer lives in the shadow of the Soviet Union, they don't have much need for the United States. So they criticize the United States out of jealousy and fear. France, Spain, Germany the Netherlands, the UK--each of these countries at various times in history either aspired to be or actually was a controlling force in the world. Now, in part by choice and and in part by circumstance, their international influence wanes.
So its the United States who leads the way, whether its Tusnami or Earthquake relief, African AIDS, the conflicts Darfur or Iraq, etc.

No one is blaming America, they are blaming bush. He started
a war with a country that wasn't responsible for 9/11.
Other countries have had terrorist attacks & they're not
blaming whole countries for it.
Because of his over-zelousness, this countrys economy is
a wreck & the his own people are being neglected.
His leadership is a disgrace & it seems like most of the
planet is aware of it.

of course ever leader is criticized...
but more to your point... what do you expect people to do... they elected the man to do a job that many believe he has not done a good job at... if he doesn't do a good job at his job, someone else should not step in and do it for him, he should be fired if he's not doing his job... like any American business...
a better question is why do you expect others to do better than Bush, instead of looking at Bush and his failures and demanding more?

you are right on! The world (especially Europe) sits on its butt and becomes a great critic of the USA but they do nothing to help or even offer solutions. When they needed help twice (WW1 and WW2) we were there and lost millions of men to help them regain their freedom. Now that we need them where are they?
Europe has always been a hack speaking out of two sides of their mouths. It is always easier to cast blame than do something constructive.

GW is blamed for everything because the current mess in the world can be directly attributed to his 'Wild Cowboy' actions in Iraq. He clearly wanted to flex his muscle for the world and wanted another 100 day war in Iraq like daddy. His idea completely backfired on him and now he created this massive mess that GENERATIONS, UPON GENERATIONS will have to suffer with.....

I think they do that because it is convienent. You forget, everyone loved the Kennedys and Princess Diana. Personally, I am proud to be an American and proud of the action my country is currently taking.
