I think that anyone (who comes here legally) is welcome.
Anyone who violates the law of the land and the policy of our nation should be put in check and sent back to their homeland.
It's not fair for those of us who pay tax dollars (to support these illegals and their healthcare and their welfare, etc) and it's not fair to those who come here legally, and wait years and spend hundreds of dollars to do so.
ALL foreigners (white or not) should be profiled. We do not want any criminals or possible rapists, robbers, gangsters.. etc. to come into our country.
If they're not here legally.. They're not an immigrant. They're an ILLEGAL. They don't have ONE SINGLE right in this country except to leave. PERIOD.
*And for all you "illegal supporters.." you say that they're not bad for this country because they're paying taxes.. and bla bla bla.. You ARE AWARE that ALL of the money they make here is sent back to MEXICO or their own country right? Didn't think so. Idiots.

I don't mind foreigners at all. And I agree, they shouldn't get special treatment. We are all created equal. It is the EFFORT we personally put forth that elevates us to places of status and wealth. I will not hand someone the keys to Fort Knox just coz they've 'had it hard', American or no.
Ok, I gotta say it, No matter what country, we all came from somewhere else. Even Native Americans may have crossed over from Asia. The oldest remains are from Africa, so we all logically migrated from there. And before that old fossil, who knows? The point is, RACE IS REGIONAL. Genetically, there is no such thing as a Jew, Black, Mexican, French, White, Chinese, Japanese, Arab, Persian, WHATEVER. So when the question is obviously asking about immigration today, don't go back a couple hundred years to point out immigrant ancestors....... it doesn't translate in the blood.

If it wasn't for foreigners coming to this country, we wouldn't be here.
If people are willing to work, pay their bills, and live an honest life, I don't care where they come from.
If they arrive here illegally, I think it's sad that they can't live comfortably in their own country, but they should be sent back.
I don't understand why more isn't being done to help those countries improve the standard of living so their nationals would want to stay home.

Legal immigrants are just fine. I have no issues with them. Illegal immigrants, even those who are somehow made to pay taxes and whatnot, need to be forced to either complete the steps to become legal or else removed from the country. Everyone deserves the chance to make it in America, everyone willing to follow the rules that is.

If they came and are here legally, great.
However our laws limit how many poor can come because poor people's taxes are very low and don't pay for their costs in services and education. We can only afford so many before our schools and services become degraded and funds are drained that are needed for our own people. With the massive influx of illegal immigration, we passed that threshold a long time ago.

If you trace your family tree you will find that we are all descendants of foreigners who came here for different reasons. At this point in time we have to face reality as to the fact that we all need supportive services such as health care, education, environment, housing. We cannot support illegal or legal immigrants indiscriminately without depriving our citizens. Immigration should be limited. As the old saying goes, "Charity begins at home".

The ones who come to America to be Americans legally are the standard we needs. Illegal aliens, no way. No amnesty for them because they are breaking our laws. I just read today that one is in Arizona hospital now because he was stabbed by his coyote with a screwdriver, for not paying more once illegally here in America... Wonder what the cost of that stay will be...

Are you Native American? Other than that group, we're all descendants of immigrants.
Have you moved to another country? I doubt what they go through could be called "getting a break".
