oportunity, the best of the best,rich, etc. etc. And now, the rest of the world including the americas and european countries just think the opposite of it? One of the reasons I suspect is because of so much racism even against their own next door neighbors.

There are real debates out there that are appropriate for this forum. How should we deal with terrorism? How to balance freedom and security? What is a necessary goverernment service? These are the questions we should be debating.

But when I see a few conservatives on Yahoo Answers claiming global warming is a vast left-wing conspiracy, or that evolution is a liberal plot, I'm disturbed.

If conservatives really want to be the anti-science party, I suppose that's their choice, but I have plenty of conservative friends who ARE scientists and are disgusted with this tendency in the party.

So, are my friends the exception, or are there more of you who believe in the ideals of conservatism but don't want to be associated with these folks who deny basic scientific principles?

I have been falsely accussed of a crime in which I was cleared. The resulting accusation is forcing me out of a career, I had to resign (or get fired) from another job, and I have had to pay a lot of out of pocket expenses. The accusor will be facing charges for filing a false case, but I may be out of my pension because of it. Do I have legal grounds to sue him civily?

I have raised him since he was 5 month old. He is now 20 months old. I am going through a visitation issue with my ex wife for my daughter. She will try to have my son taken away by saying I may harm the child. I am 50% rating by the VA and I am seeing a councelor every 3 months and I take medication to control my dreams. Could the state of AZ take away my son? Is there a website I could research this on?

If you have not thrown it and had it rejected. My friend and I had this discussion and he said hey it is not their money either so why not take toll money from the coin return. My opinion was it is not yours so leave it to them. Who is correct in this situation? And are their any laws or policies against that?

Okay so I was thinking, with all the hatred we have in the world based on ethnic background, America should be the ones to set an example and a precedent. I think we should start legislation for the outlaw of the word "niggger". I think this should be done on the grounds that it is inflamatory and it incites hatred and violence toward a group of people. I would compare it to yelling fire in a crowded theatre. This is not an issue of freedom of speech its an issue of freedom of hate. I dont think we should be free to hate someone based on thier ethnic background. Let me know your thoughts?
