Liberals are for abortion and gay marriage.
Christians are against abortion and the gay lifestyle.

It seems very incompatible to me.

I would like the Catholic Church to excommunicate John Kerry. He goes against the church with his political beliefs and he puts those beliefs above his church's teachings.

Republican Rep. Ike Skelton wrote and sent a letter Sept. 5th of 2002 asking Bush about the costs and duration of the occupation of Iraq and quoted the "Prussian military therorist Karl von Clausewutz who is very well know for the requirements in war before taking the first step, as quoted in the question, without considering the last step. Also asked in the same letter about the great philosopher of strategy , Sun Tzu, who observed, "To win victory is easy; to preserve its fruits, difficult." So did Bush think that he was smarter than these two great military thinking men or did he think it did not matter if they were correct? If the later is the case, then what did he really have in mind? Apparently he did not care how many American casualities there would be, or how much time it would take to get the job done. If the former is true then he was truly ignorant of war and/or totally dismissive of the outcome of the war and it's effect.

"Personhood brings with it all manner of rights and protections."

"We humans understand the other great apes much more completely than was possible even a few years ago. We now know that chimpanzees, gorillas, bonobos, and human beings are all species of African great apes. Together with orang-utans, we are members of a slightly larger taxonomic group known as the great apes, or "hominoidea." Not only do we have a new understanding of our biological kinship with the other great apes, but we have also gained an awareness about their complex emotional and social repertoires. This knowledge brings with it an ethical and constitutional issue which is fundamentally important to the system of values which informs and animates our society and, hence, our law. That issue is whether we can, in good conscience, maintain the legal distinction between persons and nonpersons by drawing a bright line around human beings (and a few of their creations), to the absolute exclusion of all others."

If the Hezbollah are Shiites, and Syria's majority are Shiites, why is Iran, Sunni majority, helping Hezbollah and allying itself with Syria?

If we are helping the Shiites in Iraq against the Sunnis in Iraq, aren't we siding with the same party that composes the terrorist Hezbollah organization?

Are we in a conflict of interest in supporting any of the Muslim parties in Iraq? Is this a tough puzzle to crack?

My dad and I made a sign a few years ago.The sign read like this.
Drunks
Against
Mad
Mothers

Then one of my brothers wrote fuckthe police in small letters on the bottom corner of the sign. You had to be close to see it.We left the sign out all day long and the police never said nothing.A lot of people driving by would raise their beer as a sulate. That night we built a small fire in a metal box that night and sat around and drank. The sign was in back of my truck and the police stop to see about the fire,no problems when they was leaving they see the sign in my truck so they come back.We get tickets for open fire and displaying profanity on a sign. The sign was not even displayed. Some of you people think that cops are good. But we got screwed over because of something my brother wrote that was in back of my truck.$375 apiece. Then the judge tells us that the sign was legal saying drunks against mad mothers. What do ya'll think?

Bush has publically admitted that global warming is real, and that human activity is contributing to it.

see (to pick a few of the many sites with this info):

So tell me, disbelievers. Is Bush wrong, is he lying, or is Global Warming real? Take your pick.

Just giving you guys a lil taste of whats going on in the House...

Speaker Hastert: If We Can Protect Iraq's Borders…We Can Protect Our Own Borders:

Last week Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert (R-IL) told a Chicago radio station, "What we need to do is seal our border. If someone is bleeding to death, first of all, you stop the bleeding. We need to stop the bleeding. We can seal the border." The Speaker confidently stated that the United States can stop illegal aliens from crossing the nation's borders. He also said that Congress needs to take immigration legislation one step at a time and that the priority should be protecting our borders. "I always say if we can protect Iraq's borders against Syria and Jordan, we can protect our own borders," said the Speaker.
