WHO among ya'll says, "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" without a pause, when reciting "The Pledge of Allegiance"? (Note that there is no comma between nation and under...there should be NO pause.

How old do you have to be to get into the army WITH parental consent, dont want to go to college going to be a barber. How old do you have to be to get into the army with parental consesnt how do they feel about highschool drop outs. Should i go for 2 or 4 years, its not a "i wanna serve my country", thing as much as i am patriotic, i need money, benefits, a ged, and kinda wanna buffing up which i can do all of those in the army. Any advice would be nice other than "stay in school". Oh and i have no problem taking orders or shaving my head.

At an electronics retail store, purchased a computer bag, wanted to know how it would fit 2 small computers, placed 2 iPods (enclosed in a plastic theft proof prevention box, which is about the same size as a small computer) which I was going to purchase in the 1st place, went to the sales associate to ask if they had the iPods in black (which took them forever to comeback), they said 'No.', so I placed the other iPod back on the shelf (but forgot about the other two in the bag), went to purchase the bag, walked outside, and their loss prevention staff stopped me and told me what had happened. I admitted nothing. Very embarassing, am a major contributor to the community, own a mortgage lending company, have a party rental company, and have an e-commerse business. I could lose it all if I don't wipe this off. I plan to plea not guilty, and hopefully appeal to the jury.

hey guys,i live in NY with my bf and he got a speeding ticket for doin 87 in a 55mph... the cop gave him 3 pts off his license on the ticket. They said he MUST appear in court even if he were to plead guilty and just pay the fine. Wats gonna happen? Will he get his license suspended? How much would the fine be? This is his first ticket ever.

I had an injury and illness, then the hurricanes we had, and had to file ch7 bankruptcy.I didn't know about a hardship type.There's a government program that rewards teachers for each year worked in high risk/severely needed areas, and deducts off a student loan. My atty included my info in the papers and the judge granted a full discharge. The bankruptcy document says any creditor has to notify the court prior to it, if they have any objection; none did. Months after the discharge, the student loan company sent a payment booklet. I spoke with them,and they said they did recieve notice prior to the bankruptcy, and of the discharge, but they 'usually' don't have to contact the court'. They said I now have to prove the judge said this loan specifically was discharged. I asked the trustee, she said 'That's closed,if they're on the schedules, it's discharged'.They are.No creditors are listed individually.Idon't think the burden is on me to prove it's included.They are calling with threats

With partisan politics ripping us apart, is there some issue that America can stand united on? Or maybe an event? Is there any way we can bring radicals more to the center and let eveyone accept other opinions and beliefs?

I know what your thinking: Utopia, or maybe that I'm a sissy liberal, but I sincerely hope that something happens to politics soon before we become too radicalized.

If Cuba finally "open" the door, do you think that the Cubans on the Island and the Cubans in the USA ( who already are American citzens) will have eventually a dual citizenship? Or the Cuban-American who wants to return to the Island will need the choose between the two?

I hope not to offend anyone with this question. Why is Native American a politically correct term? I believe Indian works just as well as Native American. Ok, so here's my reasoning: America comes from the European Map Maker Amerigo or what ever (I'm not good with names). So America is a European name, alright. Just as is Indian. So before America was America it must have been somthing else. So i mean i guess it could be easier to call someone a Native American. But it's just as easy to say Indian. And I know Columbus landed and thought it was the Indies and everything, but that's what they called these people. Native American isn't any different except in the lettering. Hell I'm white from a Euorpean decent but in all reality i'm Native American. That's where I come from. i have no recollection of Europe. I just want to understand why Native American is politically correct.

I met a homeless man in downtown Indianapolis today and wanted to help him. After talking with him for a while, I sent him to the federal building, where I told him they would be able to help him. Was this the right thing to do? What kind of help would he be entitled to? If I see him again, where can I take him to get help/shelter?
