I think it's because they are so open minded that their brain fell out, or at least the reasoning part did.

Well it all comes down to accountability which both sides can't seem to adhere to. There comes a time when we have to say enough is enough. Pat Buchanan is right on the money when he wrote his latest book. Google him and you will see. We are being invaded somewhere along the lines of 150k per month (probably a conservative figure). The US is home to immigrants from all nations and not just Mexicans. There is no reason Mexicans nor any other nationality should cut the line at the movies nor at the gates of freedom. Everyone is entitled to the American dream if they can follow the rules that are in place. Mexico is waging a war and attempting to reclaim land that was won from them by breeding the south out of the USA. It has to end.

I am a liberal and I do understand the difference between legal and illegal immegration. From your quote I'd say you are practically a dittohead. You should try doing your own research instead of taking the conservative babble word for word as "truth. Here is a peice of that truth.
Not all illegal immegrants are Mexican. They come from all over the world. Not all latino people are illegal immegrants. Many came legally and many were born here. The current argument leads to discrimination against ALL people of Latino decent, Amreican or not.
The argument over illegal immegration has it's roots in "Anti-terrorism". To get people's attention OFF of the non-existant WMD's they leapt to immegration. How did they spark national debate? TERRORISTS MIGHT COME FROM MEXICO!!! oooooh! Scaaary! Here's a hint. EVERY terrorist that has come in and attacked America has come across the CANADIAN BORDER. You don't need a passport to cross that border. They don't ask. In many places there aren't even border patrol station. At some points you have ONE border patrol agent covering MILES of the canadian border. So what they have is a little hut at the border. You are SUPPOSED to stop and go inside and show your ID to the agent over the picture phone. Often, these phones are broken. Most people don't bother to stop. How often have you heard people yelling about the thousands of miles of unprotected Canadian border? Why not?
Oh, and if you want to consider the "terrorist threat" from Mexico, Al Queda operatives have made it here from Canada. They haven't from Mexico. Who catches them? MEXICANS! In some cases it has been ILLEGAL IMMEGRANTS who had ALREADY crossed the border without being captured, turning themselves in so they could report potential terrorists!
Next I want you to consider one more fact. This is a hypothetical situation. You have 4 kids... and no job. There aren't any in your area and if there are, they pay FAR less than the US minimum wage. All you have to do is hop that fence, get a job and you can send money home to feed your children. Or even toss them over the fence with you and give them a life that includes health care, education and a full belly every night. Applying for LEGAL immegration takes months or years and your chances are fairly poor. Are you going to wait a year or two and watch your family starve? Or are you going to make a run for that fence?

We do comprehend the excellence. What liberals do not comprehend is how conservatives can believe we can discover the money for strict enforcement of immigration regulation after being so lax about it for thus long? we are already previous our borrowing reduce. Leniency as a thanks to get illegals who want to change into regulation-abiding electorate to go back ahead willingly rather of procuring regulation enforcement to seek out and strictly prosecute the predicted 20 million illegals in our united states appears like the more desirable prudent and Christian plan of action. we can bypass after the evil ones when we've forgiven the sturdy ones.

Your question, for one is biased. You should have asked: Why do -some- liberals not understand the difference between illegal and legal immigration? With that said, I am STRONGLY against illegal immigration, but I am very much liberal. You should stop making assumptions. Just because a person is liberal does not mean that they automatically support illegal immigration.

Liberals do not necessarily want freer immigration, and some want a wall clean across the border. They like schools and health services to be available for our own people.
I have several in my family, and this is one of the few topics we agree on.

Why is it that so called "conservatives" ask stupid questions? The real question is not about the legality or illegality. It's a question of what to DO with all of these people who are here illegally and assessing the impact of deporting them.
It isn't as simplistic as "ship them all back," as dumbazz conservatives would have people think. There is such a thing as assessing the impact to US employers, the logistics, the expense, administration etc. jackazz.

Why don't conservatives understand human rights come before greed and selfishness?
When a person is starving or dying, and trying to make a better life for themselves via hard work, we should encourage that, not demonize them. The fact that our laws are racist and don't allow latinos to immigrate legally without having an immediate family member here to sponsor them is not their fault, it's ours.

Um Excuse me. It is the conservative Republicans who are defending the illegals so that their rich business supporters can continue to have a supply of very cheap labor. And then we have to pay for their health care and education with out taxes. And then because they work cheap it keeps our pay down.

If you are suggesting that liberals want every mexican that wants to come in to be able to, I think you have a misconception. Liberals know the difference very well.

Mostly due to the fact that there's a very fine line between the two, add to that the laws are always changing, ask anyone who's tried to get a green card recently, it's a nightmare.
