I was outside at this party and a guy was smoking a pipe and acting all weird, I asked him what he was smoking and he said "marijuana soaked in diesel". Why would anyone soak something in diesel and light it on fire? Especially when they are inhaling it. Has anyone heard of this before?

What is the best branch to join if someone wants to be a WELDER?

Navy:Steel Worker(SW), Hull Maintenance Technician(HT).

Army: Metal Worker(44b)

Navy SW's are Seabees. In case u didn't know.

So which would be best? Army Metal Workers or Navy SW or HT?

Why should we limit how the war is fought when it is apparent our foe is using it to their advantage? We ARE fighting with our hands behind our back. We as Americans should hold ourselves to a very high standard. However we should not allow a blatantly abused ANTIQUATED Geneva Convention to continue to allow the enemy an upper hand. Non tradition means and tactics must be utilized to fight a non traditional "war" and enemy.
Nowhere have I ever proposed unethical behavior and there is much good to many parts of the Geneva convention.
Yes I have had the Geneva Convention shoved down my throat, I have seen first hand not only how the enemy uses it to their advantage but also how severed limbs and crushed chests look while I attempt to stabalize them. I have been there done that as a Medic. We are at a point where soldiers are given rules of engagment then told not to defend themselves until given permission. The real world says that we need new rules to fight a new enemy.

Revelation 9:14-21 Speaks of what is obviously a nuclear war that originates from the river Euphrates. The Euphrates is mainly in Iraq where the U.S. has 150,000 troops deployed and causing unstability world wide for it's greed of oil and world power. It also speaks of a army of 200 million to be released!!! Well China is very much capable of this. They hate the U.S. and have a 200.3 million man army. And with all this madness the U.S. is trying to invade Iran also? Anyways this war that starts from the Euphrates ultimatley kills a 3rd part of mankind!!! That would be over 2 billion people!!! Is this war fixing to take place? Tell me your opinion and what you think also here is a news article about China telling the U.S. to SHUT UP!!

After serving over 11 years in the Army and deploying in support of the War on Terror four times, my time may have come to an end. During my last tour in Iraq I fell victim to a roadside bomb (IED) which took my left eye, left thumb, and took about half the use of my right hand. I will soon be facing my medical retirement board, and I am not sure what to do.
I know that if I choose to stay in my promotion potential will have dropped, and I probably wont be able to deploy again. My wife says that I have served enough, and it is time to start over. But at 31 years old, I am not sure that is a good move.

What does the forum think? Serious answers only please.

My husband is a soldier and says it's his job. He is in the infantry. His opinion is if you don't want to do it then why did you sign on the dotted line. Most of the guys he works with feel the same way. Canadian citizens should be supportive of our soldiers and stop using the excuse that our role is as peacekeepers. What do you think they do all their training for? To babysit??
