If people who didn't like their government kept packing up and moving, no tyranny would ever be dismantled. No dictator would ever be brought down. No fascist government striving to steal from the poor and give to the rich would ever be stopped.
The only reason someone should leave America is because they don't believe in Life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness.
These are the three Ideals and basic driving forces that make someone an American. Regardless of where they live, where they were born or what color their skin is.
I hold true that an American is someone who supports the most fundamental American Ideals, not someone who happens to be born or live in America.

That's just it - they're making it all about money. Not virtue, not character, not service to the community, not quality of life. They're setting the rules and there can be no real dissent. Don't abandon your country because they have the upper hand right now. Live according to your own values - solid and true values - the winds of change will come and the injustices will be ferreted out. Go to the wilderness if you have to, like Francis of Assisi, but don't abandon your country. It needs you.

If you read (which you obviously don't) the Constitution, it states something called FREEDOM OF SPEECH. I can disagree with the piece of sh!t government all I want. Right now it sucks. If you don't like it, the word "tough" comes to mind....
Want me to move, MAKE ME, or shut up and you move to the Middle East where they don't allow freedom of speech...

I have a friend who now lives in turkey. not because she does not like US but because she likes to travel. She is working her way around the world and has been for a year now. If you think it is better somewhere else then go there and work. you just have to make the commitment. be strong and get the f.... out.

I've offered to move people out of the country if they formally give up their US citizenship. They quickly become silent about the issue of cost and NEVER accept the offer.
