Just saw the movie V for Vendetta last weekend in which the hero tries to blow up the English Parliament as a symbolic act to bring about change in the fascist government in his country(it's no surprise he gives it away in the beginning)in honour of Guy Fawkes. Since we are slipping into racial hatred and big brother law it has led me to ask: What historical feat would you be willing to undertake to bring change to society(constructive or destructive)? please be as specific as possible

I would have thought it would have been a much larger contingent considering how invovled they wanted to be in the ceasefire deal between the two waring sides.

Playing it safe as usual...more bark than bite. I am guessing that is the french way.

He pauses constantly. Is this because he is receiving a radio feed to tell him what to say? He stutters and mispeaks. He just doesn't sound intelligent when he speaks.

Okay, what I mean by Corporate facism (as facism it is very debated, with many diverse ideas of what it even is) is more of a Corporatism. In our current system we have these people who represent other people "lobbyist" attempting to gain favor in legislation or otherwise from our leaders. This unequal access (interest groups vs "We the people") can create a controlled legislative process. This control could (does (or so it seems)) direct benefits of legislative process to those with the deepest pockets. This creates in a sense a government that places a greater interest in somthing other then the citizens of a nation. What laws prohibit this from happening?

As an American I think I should have the right to consume any substance I wish, as long as it does not harm another human bieng. I do not do drugs, or drink alcohol, I believe it is not good for your body. But, the government should not be able to control what goes into our body. Alcohol is legal, and it can kill you the first time you drink it. I am not saying from a car wreck or anything like that, I am talking about just drinking to much. Marijuana you can not die from it the first time consuming the substance. You can if it is laced with a more toxic substance. The government spends a lot of our money on ads that children do not even pay attention to. They show a drug user as a bad person, and someone who is not wise. Many Americans smoke marijuana and have good paying jobs, a nice car, a house, and have a beautiful family. What is so bad about them occasionaly consuming marijuana. I would like to hear everyones opinion on this, and please do not say it's illegal I know.

Ok, I know that their are some bad lawyers that will do anything for money but my question is in regards to public DAs, when a guy is clearly wrong and did sometimes horrendours things, how do you do your job to not just defend him but to help him get a lower sentence? And how do you do that day after day?

You know that abroad we have difficulty in understanding why American people re-elected Bush. Some of you said to me that it is because they had no really choice, that J. Kerry was the even worse than Bush. I admit not to know so much about John Kerry, what can you tell me about him? Was he really worse?

Why would you give it that name? What principles would you uphold as being singularly most important? What platform would you base it on? How could you bring together conflicting ideologies and collaborate, stay focused, remain friends and push forward with a collective plan for the benefit, of everyone.
keep it simple...lol Okay okay, keep it focused on bipartisian fairness. Consider playing some form of patriotic themed music that allows you to be really, really, idealistic.

The Bush administration knew about the hijacked plans were off course for over 40 minutes yet did absolutely nothing. A FBI informant actually lived with the so called 9/11 terrorists. On the Project for the New American Century's website the NeoCons state that we need another "Pearl Harbor" like attack to carry out their plans several years before 9/11. Do you think Bush and pals are really behind 9/11?

I mean seriously, there are so many laws that a normal person (this does not include coragryph) could not possibly keep abreast of. There are so many laws that it is near to impossible not to break at least one in a day...usually because you are not aware of it. There is presently in motion a disease called legalism. Every law seems to further restrict and control each and every action a person makes on a normal, everyday basis. I understand the need for laws, without them there would be chaos, anarchy and such.
Why not more deregulation? What is so wrong with freedom that makes good people want to control the actions of others? Why has a good idea (freedom) become such a great pain to maintain?
