Yes. On the upside, it makes for good Daily Show episodes.

Well intelligence is not proven buy how one speaks or writes. But he does have a speaking problem, but does that make him less of a man or a leader. Are you proficient in totally everything, and does that discount you for your job if you are not? Why attack someone on their lack of physical abilities just because you don't like him.
Well maybe you are prefect and if so, then maybe you can run for President and speak to the world and have every word you speak analyzed and picked apart.
If you don't like him for his decision that honestly one good thing, but to attack his physical impairments, that is low, and the bleeding heart liberals would think you some kind of monster. To go after a disabled person the way you do.

Many people stammer when speaking in a stressful setting. To see a difference, watch Bush during some impromptu speaking. Bush tends to speak much better when his speak is not scripted (and when he is not trying to stay scripted). But when he is reading a speech, he struggles.
I don't think this is an area of concern, Pres Johnson and Cater both had public speaking problems similar to President Bush.

yep you're right. It's because he's not good at reading the TelePrompTers. (the clear things on a stand to each of his sides.) People from Texas (like myself) are better at just saying what we mean and not reading something and trying to sound sincere. His speeches are written for him, but he could probably do a better job of reviewing them before he speaks. Presidents Clinton and Reagan were very good speakers and seemed really comfortable when talking.

Poor Bush. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the guy. All he does is screw up a country and attack a few other countries and every one hates him. Don't worry if you're reading Bush, I'll never vote for you and think you suck as president but I still like you as an individual.

Sadly George Bush let's down America on the world stage big time. To be quite frank he is a laughing stock.......but the saddest part is there is nothing to laugh at .........cos war mongering and posturing is simply not funny even when done so in elloquently.

To be honest, I really don't think he is a public person at all. I think he was propped up from the beginning for his role, but in hindsight, if he had many choices in life, I think he'd be doing work that involved a lot less of public attention.

He sounds stupid because he has always been intellectually lazy.
He somehow passed through Andover, Yale, and Harvard without learning to express himself like an educated person.
