America is the world's only superpower. With all its resources, Americans aren't even close in laying their hands on Laden, what the hell is going on?

Bush does not want to catch him.

Seriously, think about it. While Bush is a wartime president he has authority to disobey any law for national security purposes. He has already declared Iraq a success... on that ship remember. So, as long as this war on terror exist, he gets to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants... unlimited power and control.

Proof in Point:
On Sept 18 & 19, 2001, the Taliban offerred to hand over B.Laden to a nuetral country so that he would get a fair trial. Bush said and I quote, "No negotiations, hand him over or else." This told me from day one that he did not want to catch B.Laden.

Also, in the Frontline series called The Dark Side, a few CIA ppl talk about when they had B.Laden trapped at one point in Afghanistan during the first months there were there. They requested troops. Rumsfeld refused and only sent in aerial strikes.

Pakistan announced a few months before the last presidential election that they believed Osama Bin Laden was dead.

He was in bad health, and in hiding, did not have access to the medical machinery that he needed to care for his kidney disease. I believe he also had diabetes.

But anyway. Pakistan said it was unrealistic to think that he could survive without medical attention that required power - something not so accessible in the caves.

But then he supposedly put out a tape in the middle of the presidential election, where he looked healthier than ever. And this swung the voters over to Bush, because they got scared again.

Could we safely assume that the Bush Administration falsified the tape?

The CIA also disbanded it's Bin Laden unit. No use looking for a guy thats dead.

Edit:

By the way - sorry I didn't provide sources. The files I have are on my other computer, which I will access in a couple days. Message me then if you want to see them.

I am sure the guy is on the CIA's payroll

If he is caught alive imagine what that guy could say about Bush in a trial

If he's killed imagine the centuries of martyer status the guy would instantly get

Either way if he's caught then tell me how will the US justify going into the next nation "looking" for him. This guy is the perfect enemy - he shows up makes a tape disappears and the US is in that nation bombing away. Anyone the US doesn't like - Osama is there lets bomb them. He is the greatest of all Emanuel Goldstien to the letter.
Emanuel Goldstien was a character in George Orwell's 1984 a non existent enemy of the state whose image and threats were staged by the state in order to justify all laws and so forth.
Wow we are getting closer and closer to thought crime all the time aren't we?

So no he is not going to get caught and he will live out the remainder of his life getting dialysis and drinking exotic sounding drinks in the backyard of the White house

There can be no more than 100 percent of aggregate goals in any single theater. You can't have more than 100 percent of the total of anything. GW Bush said, when questions of international law were raised just before the invasion of Afghanistan in October 2001, "No! We're gonna kick some ***."
This agenda greatly reduced other agendas (including the agenda to coral al Qaeda and capture bin Laden). Yes, it could have been achieved in 2001, but mistakes were made by the Commander in Chief then. Now it gets harder and harder. He is well schooled in hiding himself now.

Because catching him is the last thing the US administration wants.
If they caught him, they would have to put him on trial, which would - if it were a fair trial - undoubtedly find him not guilty of all the things he is accused of by politicians and their fanatic "Christian" supporters.
Osama bin Laden was selected and trained by the CIA to head the "Al-Qaeda" organisation, when they set it up as a terror force against the Russians in Afghanistan. They did a good job there and made the Russians' lives hell, so they left eventually.
So far I have seen not one bit of evidence that shows "Al-Qaeda" is no longer under the control of the CIA. All they are accused of having done has only strengthened right-wing extremists in the USA and given them excuses to attack, invade and occupy Iraq and Afghanistan. So if they were such dangerous terrorists who fight against the West, why is it that each action in their name is making the fanatics in the West stronger and peace less likely?
Maybe our arms industry, which is Bush's main financial backer, could answer that...

I do not know why he hasn't been caught yet. I will be grateful when he is though. Many lives have been lost in pursuit of him and I do not want them to have died in vain. It is very important that Osama is brought to justice. It may very well diffuse some of the turmoil in this world. Killing him will make him a martyr, capturing him will silence his mouth. In his world he is a very persuasive speaker. I have heard enough of his poo.

"Americans aren't even close in laying their hands on Laden"

You don't know that. They are looking for him. It took almost a decade to find the Atlanta Olympics bomber, and he was in America! People who don't want to be found can prove very elusive.

I have lost my trust in the government. I would not be surprised if Bin Laden is either captured or known to be dead already.
