I honestly don't think it's going to happen in 2008. It's such a mess in there right now, I wouldn't want to be the one that would have to clean it all up.
By 2008, if Dubya has his way, we will be at war, and he can enact an executive order to delay or cancel elections.

The gender of the next President of the United States is a trivial matter. What he or she would do and what kind of leader he or she would make is what is important.

It would be interesting to see what she would do differently than her male counterparts and if things really do improve under her leadership. It would also be very interesting to see the reaction of a predominately male Military to a female Commander and Chief.
