I'm truly saddened by the anti-American rhetoric going on in response to your question. Apparently nearly everyone here has jumped on the Hate-Bush bandwagon...one even calling for a presidential assasination???? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?
To answer your question, Bush has done more good for this country than the liberal media (and your high school teachers) are leading you to believe.
1. Lower unemployment rate than even was enjoyed under the Clinton administration.
2. Actually TOOK ACTION when we were attacked as a nation by terrorists (WTC, Cole, etc... were attacked under the previous administration and NOTHING was done, making us look like a pathetic JOKE. If something, anything would have been done, MAYBE 9/11 wouldn't have happened.)
3. Minorities and women are enjoying a higher home and small business ownership rate than ever before in HISTORY.
4. Tax cuts....and I am NOT rich. NOT AT ALL. Those tax cuts directly affected my family in a very positive way. Any one who says that the child tax credit was for the "extremely rich" is flat out lying. I know from experience.
5. Economic prosperity: Apparently everyone is down on the economy thinkin' that all is lost, but when questioned about their own financial status, they claim that they're doing "just fine". During the Almighty Clinton era, our family of 4 was well below the poverty line. That has changed since Bush has brought in tax cuts that helped our bottom line change directly. I know you libs don't want to hear that a family could actually get out of the depths of poverty because of tax cuts, but it's absolutely true. Not one government "entitlement" got us out of poverty, but hard work and tax cuts did. We're not rich, but at least Social and Health Services aren't sending us state-sponsored solicitations every month any longer.

You Bush-bashers make my heart weep. It's oh-so-vogue to jump on the bandwagon, isn't it? Grow some kahunahs, look at the real evidence, and think for yourselves. Don't allow the liberal media, tenured college professors and your high school teachers to think for you. That is not their job, as much as they'd like it to be.

Bush addresses the issue of terrorism in the us instead of sweeping it under the rug like democrats do. He put himself out there with financial audits, phone tapping, He didn't go play golf.
Saddam was taking the money from the oil for food program in case any one was interested along with so many others, and there are now new apartment dwellings in northern Iraq and hopes for a new democracy. He did not hesitate when it came time to back an allie namely Isreal a struggling democracy with Hamas on one side and hezbollah on the other. Did I get to 5 yet?

1) Trying to cut down on the war on terror, by rebuilding a Iraq to start defending themselves.

2) Gave more money to help support our troops and build a better defense system for our country.

3) Did not allow embryonic stem cell research to continue.

4) Stopped "late-term" abortions from being made legal.

5) Is still trying to work out the crap Clinton had done when he was in office to mess up our fuel costs.

I voted for him twice, and I would vote for him again! God bless GWB!

Who cares

His Job and his Oath is to protect and preserve the Constitution.

He made no promise and has no obligation to make the world a better place.

Now as for your better place concept. The Bible clearly says the the world will become a worse and worse place. With the promise that evil men and seducers will wax worse.

So do you believe God or do you think a President can make things better.

Go big Red Go

Do you actually know any soldier, Marine or National Guard person that has actually been over there? I do. Some soldiers - snipers, to be exact. And some that came home wounded badly. They have personally told me that the Iraqis have come up to them and praised America for being there in the first place. Have you ever checked into what Saddam did to those people? Its absolutely unbelievable. Anyway, my soldier friends who were there - told me 1st hand that the Iraqis hugged them, kissed them and told them how happy they were to be free of Saddam. I have seen pictures - unfortunately we never saw those on TV, did we??? That, on top of the way he handled 9/11 - he is a hero in all aspects to me.

Are you kidding me? That is a very good question! What has he done? Well has he chosen his words very carefully not to look like an A%$^hole? NO! Has he thought very carefully, about whom to blame for the 9/11 attacks? Before sending all of our good young men off to a battle, to fight in some country, where the people had nothing to do with 9/11? On the other hand, did he just wrongfully redirect our countries anger on another country for the possible personal gain of their goods and services? (Oil) Has he kept in line with all standards and policies of war, careful not to piss off other countries? BIG, FAT NO! Let us see, did he cut most government aid to needy families and children’s head start programs to pay for this venture? Yes, he has almost made our social security plan and Medicare outdated with his erratic miscalculated malishios spending? You know, I just do not know! He has defiantly blown our national budget to sh%t! Right after President Clinton cleaned up the last mess! Oh right, and then he claims,”It is not a Personal venture!” The real reason still stands, “To revenge his fathers’ unfinished business!". Sorry I tried … I just cannot come up with five. Can any one do this? I’m waiting to see if anyone can produce this information.. Please write in if you can come up with five! I am just as interested.

The is a very good and difficult question. I cant seem to think of any good deed he has done for this world except making us laugh.
1. One day President Bush went to see a fortune teller, and asked him, "When will I die?" The fortune teller said, "On an Iraqi holiday." Bush asked, "Which one?" The fortune teller said, "It doesn't matter, any day you die will be made into an Iraqi holiday."

2. George Bush went to see the doctor to get the results of his brain scan. The doctor said: "Mr. President, I have some bad news for you. First, we have discovered that your brain has two sides: the left side and the right side." Bush interrupted, "Well, that's normal, isnt it? I thought everybody had two sides to their brain." The doctor replied, "That's true, Mr. President. But your brain is very unusual because on the left side there isnt anything right, while on the right side there isnt anything left."
