President Bush has never said that Iraq was involved in 9/11. On the contrary, his administration has always maintained that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. I've yet to say a single liberal post cite a single example of Bush saying otherwise.
What he HAS said is that Iraq under Saddam was supporting terrorism. Several different terror organizations were given sanctuary, and had established training camps within Iraq. OBL had not, but other terrorist had.
The war on terror is not just a war against al Quada, and never has been. It is a war against ALL terror organizations, wherever they may hide.
In 1941, when Pearl Harbor was attacked, the U.S. did not just declare war against Japan. We declared war against all the Axis powers, Japan, Germany, and Italy.

Repeat it enough times and people will believe it. NO NO NO, I don't mean Pres Bush, liberals. Sorry, but when did he say Iraq had something to do with 9/11? He and VP Cheney both have said that there may have been connections between Hussein and terrorists organizations, but I don't recall them saying there was a direct link between Iraq or Hussein and 9/11. But sometimes people take things out of context, sometimes by mistake..... and sometimes intentionally. Don't you think? Is there anyone here that took something out of context, scrolling, scrolling, oh yeah.

that's no longer something new. he's declared it in the previous, a minimum of two years in the past. So did Rummy. In fairness to Bush, he never fairly got here out and reported "Saddam grow to be in contact in 9/11". What he did fairly grow to be each and every time he gave a foreign places coverage speech only before the conflict he continually accompanied up any connection with Saddam with a connection with 9/11 and vice versa. people began to associate the two activities of their minds, lots so as that by ability of the time we invaded Iraq sixty 9% of individuals thought that Saddam grow to be in contact in 9/11. apparently that grow to be with regard to an identical share that grow to be in choose of the conflict.

I cannot remember Bush himself ever saying that Iraq was absolutely responsible for 9/11. He did say that they were part of the Axis of Evil along with Iran and N. Korea. He never blamed them (Iran , N. Korea) for 9/11 either. He did blame Saddam for supporting terrorists financially and with weapons (regular ones, not WMDs) in various places of the world. The press and others inferred that Bush was associating Saddam with 9/11. Saddam did send money to the families of suicide bombers in Palestine. Saddam was so pissed about Desert Storm 1991, one can assume that he would be a big obstacle to the USA.

it is so much bigger than the so called "lies" you parrots constantly whine about. Saddam was a bad guy, all his neighbors hated him, all his people hated him. This war is about oil in a way, now Iraq hopefully will expand and modernize, instead of being King Nebuchadrezzars private oil field.

Neddy me love, it's all about power and money with these people. Truth matters not a bit, honesty and integrity are characteristics these people loathe. No, President Codpiece's admission does not change my opinion of him; I realized long before the "supreme" court treasonously selected him in 2000 that he is a reprehensible little villian, a deserter and a coward. Those who support him are equally detestable and swinish. May they rot in the desert and their bones be picked clean by the vultures!

Hmmm I don't ever recall Bush saying that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11. I do recall him and the rest of the government (including Kerry) saying that Iraq had WMD's (which they did). Why is it that you can only remember bush saying it? Why is it that Democrats can't own up to anything and holler foul when you remind them they did something.

For those of us who knew what the deal was it's no surprise but it's sad and really surprising that there were people who will believe whatever he said and back him no matter what just because he's the president of their country. A leader getting away with such atrocities with the backing of his countrymen...hmmmmmmmmm

Someone in his administration forgot to remind him that in his line of work, "You gotta keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in. To kinda catapult the propaganda".
How can they possibly be made bigger fools of themselves than they already are?

No, it doesn't change my mind. I hated him from the beginning. I never believed a word he said anyway, so at least there was no period of disillusionment..
And by "he", I mean in the collective sense of his entire administration, including him.
