I don't think too well unless of course he pulls Bin-Laden out of his azz just before the 2008 election, what do you think"

It's interesting to see how many posts seem to think that if Bush captures Bin Laden, it will somehow redeem his failed presidency. Not likely. Capturing Saddam didn't help his stature. Killing Zarqawi didn't help.

Iraq is a disaster. Our involvement there has only served to give Iran a powerful new ally in the region.

Katrina was a disaster. Nothing is going to change that outcome. Hezbollah is already further along rebuilding south Lebanon than the US is in rebuilding New Orleans.

Fiscally, Bush is a disaster. Deficits and debt as far as the eye can see.

Socially, Bush is a disaster. In the 60's, the vast majority of Americans thought inter-racial dating was a sin. Now no one cares. Polls of today's youth show they don't oppose gay marriage. So when they are adults, Bush's attempt to pass a Constitutional Amendment to ban gay marriage is going to look like nothing but bigotry. Hardly the stuff to build a legacy on...

Most Americans don't like Bush b/c the liberals disagree to what he stands for, just like most republicans don't like Clinton b/c we disagree with what kind of president Clinton was. But the truth of the matter, and if you cannot see this then you are blind, our economy is in good shape, far better then what Clinton had us at. Sure, gas prices are high, but everything is a ratio, the same ratio, since the 40's and 50's. We are in a war, if we pull out now, everything will turn back to where it was, that is military politics. We are in a mess, all due to Sept. 11th, and it has gone down hill since, but we need to stick together more then ever, and in two years, be it if it's a democrat or republican in office, we still need to stick together. Whether it's apparent or not, we are indeed protecting ourselves by being in this war. If we stop the terrorists where they live, they cannot thrive any longer.

um, no, clinton cut funds, if that is what you mean by making money. If you recall, when we first went in to Iraq, the media was all over our troops not having the correct armor, that was clinton, among other things. Try doing some research, Clinton screwed up our military and our economy, he more or less just put everything on hold.

And calling me a "moron" doesn't help your cause, it just makes you look less intelligent. Calling names is more or less a tactic that liberals use when they don't quite understand something.

I don't think even the capture of Bin-Laden is going to change the way this administration is seen 30-50 years from now. That's if history is written without bias.

In the two years remaining, we may very well be involved in conflicts from N. Korea to Iran to Iraq (still). That I think will be the overshadowing view of his administration. How did he/they handle the conflicts. Not to mention Katrina. That will be a couple chapters all by itself.

This administration has not been up to the challenge of crisis management and unfortunately for the U.S., we've had plenty of crisis'.

bush will be viewed as being the only president with a striking resemblance to curious george, the cartoon monkey, who got into trouble all the time.

bin laden got a new makeover by now.he probably has a more edgy hairdo, clean shaven, new clothes, temporary tattoos, pierced ears and colored contacts.be on the lookout for a geezer dressed like an emo-boy.

Bush will go on American History as well as John Wayne. No matter how he did things, if Americans have a gain, he will be a hero. Don't forget the 57 percent of the populace is happy ever after with his attitude , and that will be not changed in the future.

He admitted himself, he would like to be viewed as a dictator. He has us in a war we can't win and is killing many innocent people. He thinks he's above the law. He will go down in history as one of the worst presidents in history!!!

He stands up for what is right. Doesn't give in to world tyrants. He's a religous man. I for one am not, but some people are extremely intimitaded by that.

He turned around a recession that he inheirted. Unemployment near record lows, housing market booming, winning the war on terror and all this during record gas prices? He's doing something right.

There is no one I'd rather want as President when something like 9-11 happened

What is popular isn't always right and what is right isn't always popular

The American Dictator. Bin Laden? Oh, they have him in a holding cell somewhere in the states. They'll pull him out before the end of Dubya's term.

Btw, I *used* to be a Republican.

And to the moron above me. Clinton's economy was the best ever in American history. Twice as good as Bush's. In fact we made so much money during the Clinton era some people thought we were making too much
