I got a ticket for assault 4 and harassment back in May. My job found out and they "suspended" me until trial. Well the DA gave me a plea bargain to drop the assault 4 and plea to the harassment but when I complete classes, do community service, and pay fines I get it discharged. Well I asked my work if I do that can I go back to work and they said more than likely, yes. So I did and now they are hesitating on giving an answer. I lost money and insurance benefits because I couldn't pay them. What should I do? Serious answers only please!

First off I am not a minor. I had to go to the dentist three different times to fill cavities. Well my last appointment was next week and I had to cancel it because I will be out of town. I left a message on the phone because no one answered. The next day they called my DAD and told him I canceled the appointment and asked him if that was ok. He told them that they should not cancel it (he didnt know I wouldnt be in town yet) until he talked to me. Then I called this morning to confirm it had been canceled they asked me if I had talked to my dad and told me I could not cancel it unless I had. My parents insurance is paying for it. But like my college cant give my parents information unless I give them permission even though my parents are helping with paying (I'm doing most of that) because I have a Right to Privacy. So is the dentist office allowed to "tattle" on me if I reschedule an appointment?. Only those who know for sure answer please!

I walk into any store, (about 3 malls every day) take clothes into the dressing room, and stuff like 8 tops into my purse and walk out! How can I ger myselfe to stop??? I dont even have room for any more clothes. What makes it worse is that my friends do it to. Im 20 and on probation for something else so getting cought would be BAD!

Did the unibomber or Timothy McVeigh have ties to al qaida or muslim extremists? I didn't think so, so why then did Dubya in one of his speeches say we are at war with "islamic extremists" and not terror. Terrorism is not exclusive to the muslims, or is it like the illegal immigration issue not being about illegals but about Mexicans?

One of them is particularly belligerent so I keep spanking him over and over again harder each time, but he just keeps getting more belligerent.

Are my tactics of agression persuasive and healthy for all involved? Or are my tactics in effect going to exacerbate the problem?

And how does this conundrum correllate to America's policy in mid-east / Persian area relations?

Hello,

what is the marine DI school like? what is the criteria for getting into that particular MOS? When there is a war situation (such as the current one in Iraq) are DI ever deployed? If so what is their job while at war? Or are they strictly homeland?

The United States is adament about destroying the nuclear weapons in other countries, but we are still allowed to have them here...does anyone find a discrepancy in this?? We moved in our duplex on June 1st. About 2 weeks later our landlord decided to come over due to a complaint we had made about the air conditioner. The next time we talked to him he told us how disgusting our place was. Saying that dishes weren't done and our bed was not made, etc. Then he went on to say that if it continued he would evict us. Then last night he came over again, handed us a 3 day notice saying that unless we kick the 3rd person out living there we would be evicted (there is no one else living there) - He also went on to say that our neighbors had informed him that they can hear us in the shower for 45 min at a time (which is false) and that he will be sending us the water bill (which in the lease says that he is responsible for) He continued and started saying that are cars are not washed and that we need to get our broken window fixed and that only 2 cars are allowed on the driveway in a 24hr period (our neighbors have 4 OUTSIDE their garage.) In America....well in the south, there is an old saying..."never bring up religion and politics". And yet when we do...we all get huffy and try so hard to defend our beliefs and also try to "convert" people to believe the way we believe whether it be about politics, our government, or our religion. I With all the questions I have seen and posted myself...and with all the feedback from other yahoo users....I have come to the conclusion that hearing from everyone and getting opinions and attitudes from people who believe differently than myself has really opened my eyes to see the diverse spectrum of people that this world holds. and despite the fact that it is very hard to change a persons mind when it comes to government (especially), it is good and wise to listen to what others say. I can only hope that with every debate or topic of politics we all argue about, that somehow we come away with a piece of information or knowledge to use to better ourselves.
