Funny. I was recently on a flight from the east coast to the west. There were 3 women wearing hijab (Muslim head scarf) sitting across the aisle from me. The woman and her friend sitting next to me kept talking to me about how scared they were and that we shouldn't let these "terrorist Arabs" on the plane. They even went as far as to ask the flight attendant to move their seats. Little did they know they were talking to a person who was Muslim. When I pointed this out, one of the women said "wow, you don't even look like "one"". I took it upon myself to help educate them for the rest of the flight. We are surrounded by people of great ignorance in this country.
