I have a licence but no insurance and do drive on a daily basis. Why? To work. I got a DUI a few years back and cannot afford the insurance so I have no choice as I need to eat. So dont drink and drive so you can afford your insurance.

Only for a short distance trip and back. An unfortunate soul on my block did that, however and a cop was at a corner, spotted him and you know the rest..no liscense plate and to boot no insurance (!) It cost him more in fines, etc. Totally not worth it..get a bicycle

I'm sorry to say that I have done that in the past but will never do it again. It's easy, especially when money is tight, to see something like car insurance as something other than a necessity.

These could result in big fines and could end up causing you to have to wait until you are 21 to have a real liscense. Give it a rest and wait till u take drivers ed

Yeah, I had to for a while just to get to work. It's not a great idea though, because it's easy pickin's for the cops if your sticker is expired. Even if you're driving safely, they'll pull you over every time because it's just easy money for them.

Not me, but I live in FL & we have a lot of people like that here. If you have any property or money, you will lose it all if you get into an accident & maybe be put in jail. It's not worth it.
