Leave it to the first person to answer to be the most ignorant.

Stop hating everything and do something constructive.

Oh, by the way, we are not a Democracy and our President should not say we are trying to spread Democracy. We are a Republic. We should try to spread the idea of Freedom.

The only time that America was ever truly isolated lasted all of 6 months. When Wilson tried to remain isolated, the government was still trading with other countries who would then turn around and sell to the nations we were trying to not deal with. Then the Lusitania and we know what happened next. It is almost impossible to become truly isolationist in today's world. It means we would have to cut off all political AND economic bonds with the rest of the world. See how long that would last. Anyone who says otherwise is being way too optimistic. Besides, there would always be someone or thing trying to ruin you isolationist dreams. Countries get mad now if we interfere, but they would also get mad if we turned our backs on them as well. That's right. Being isolationist also means you can no longer interfere with "humanitarian causes" as well. No more helping the poor or hungry in Africa or Asia. No more helping the tsunami victims. No more offering safety to those seeking refuge from their oppressive governments. All that goes away as well. It can never happen. Let it go.

Oil shale in the Rockies has been generic for some years. a minimum of as a results of fact the 70s. Its costly to offer and the value of oil must be extreme adequate to make it interior of your value selection. It expenses approximately 50-60 money to offer a barrel of oil in the U. S. now. It expenses approximately 10-15 money to offer a barrel of oil in the middle East. it relatively is totally in maximum cases going to be extra low-priced to import. we've extensive components of oil in storage now, (aside from the SPR) already out of the floor and able for use, as subsequently contemporary extreme expenses.. yet there is little call for with a susceptible financial device. Speculators have been utilising up the value, like they did final 12 months. Oil is a fungible commodity and shall we on no account set the value for it. yet environmentalists are making it complicated to drill in the U. S. whilst expenses do upward push to rewarding stages. no longer purely in the Alaskan national vegetation and fauna shelter yet in the decrease 40 8 like the Wyoming selection.

We've been isolated in the past. In fact, in the fall of 1941, we cut off all commerce with Japan. They showed us how happy they were about that on December 7, about 8 am Hawaii time.

to Rodeny_King , after all , Allah you are mocking .. still your God too , may be with a different word you have for him but he is the same one in heaven ... secondly, you don't have to speak Arabic after all its very difficult ... try Hebrew still the same words in Arabic they have the same root and same words but the only different that Arabic is more complicated to learn ... its not a language who is reborn after ages of its last time spoken.

for USA Isolated , I would not prefer that because I believe in USA people .. I love them and I know they are clever enough to realize that they are sometime bios .. they just need to see it right ... some Americans just listen to their media but still they are very eager to learn and know the truth ... and that's why I like them. I saw today in some news some American Actors saying that all Arabs are the evil on earth and they should be wiped out ... Now I don't care about what Iran ( not Arabic Country for those who are confused) had said about Israel ...

think about but why actors got confused between Arab and Iran ... you know what I found out that they don't read history neither Geography..

Isolationism would be very good for the US, but not for the rest of the world. Our enemies would hate us even more if we stopped buying their products and handing over money to them.

In other words, because we are a successful, powerful and free country, the countries that are not will always hate us.

An isolated US would be a dream for enemies of the US. They would be free to arm to any strength that want. Since their stated goal is the destruction of the US and Israel they would not simply disappear into the woodwork. Rather, they would disappear into the woodwork until they were ready to attack.

Why do you folks belive that crap Bush said
"They hate our way of life"

My way of life and Mr. Bushs' way of life are very different.
I go to work everyday, I take care of my kids, I bust my butt.
He gets driven around and gives dumn speeches to people more dumn than him.

NOBODY HATES US BECAUSE OUR GREAT NATION STANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They hate us because we get on Television talking about Democracy for all the world and just as soon as some group in Africa or the Middle east starts talking about democracy we kill them off or let them be killed off for the sake of our business interest there...........

We tell people we will save them from evil but when they fight that evil we ignore their pleas for the sake of that evil just as long as that evil keeps giving us the business deals we want!!!!!!!!

THATS WHY!!!!!!!!

Isolation is not the key.....

Bringing true democracy to the world should be our #1 goal even if it destroys us!

HELL BENT ON FREEDOM!!!!!!!!

We were once a great isolated society with no problems. Now we interfere and are seen as bullys.

Come home America and put your head in the sand again - this world is too damn crazy for you.

They will not be happy until we all worship Allah and speak Arabic. We would possibly move down on the list of people to destroy first, but I really think it's too late for that.
