For Christians only:

How would you feel if our money (American dollars and coins) said "There is no God" instead of "In God We trust"?

What if it didn't mention God one way or the other?

if the american government ACTUALLY HELPED the people of mexico, rather than enacting policies like NAFTA, that pretend to help them, and in reality just oppress them more, and increase the profits of american corporations- would there be less illegal immigration?

here's some background, since everyone is going to say that i'm talking out of my a**, but won't actually read anything that you give them to support your arguments- There used to be an article in the Mexican constitution that gauranteed land distribution to the poor, but thanks to NAFTA- these lands have been siezed from those people, and sold to the highest bidder (usually a large american corporation who likes the idea of the lack of labor laws).

I've just read his book, and being naive to all the political stuff, the stuff in the book shocked me a bit.
Some of it was a little bizarre, but I never dug myself in the George Bush and Republican/Democratic happenings.
Have you read it? Do you believe what Al Franken says? Is he really exposing the "truth", or is he twisting it?

If you listen to the rhetoric going back and forth between the US and Iran, one gets the definite impression that the US administration is trying to get the public opinion on their side to conduct, either directly or through proxies, a military adventure against Iran? (Whew....quite a sentence...or two.) What do you think?

Is there even one single good one in the whole lot? I hate to over generalize but in the case of lawyers, I have to say they are all scum. Unhappily that includes judges and even procecutors who are supposed to be the good guys. They all don't seem to have even the slightest sense of right and wrong. What do you think?

The other night Croc Dundee was on TV, haven't seen it for years,, in the opening shot there is a wide shot of New York and the dominate feature is The Twin Towers,, it struck me while watching the movie(shot in 1984) how much the world has declined ,, and how innocent we were back then,, It seemed that the towers and the loss of those towers was the beginning of a whole change of life for a generation of people who knew only good times and peace,, do yo see the changes too

With the 2008 elections comming up around the corner, there is going to be a completely new president in office. Who would you like to see in office? Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush or someone else? Do you think the republicans or the democrats or even a 3rd party will make it in?

Any input is appriciated.

I have noticed that no matter how I verbally deliver my questions and circumstances to people they tend to believe that I am lying and guilty when I tell them the truth. Do you think the world and it's circumstances has changed the way people see one another these days? People used to believe each other not so long ago, but it's seems like the world has change for the worse ever since 9-11. Some say we've grown closer because of that but I don't think that's true. People seem scared to believe anyone. Why do you think this "REALLY" is? Maybe the government is causing this fear in everyone? I know I feel very betrayed by them ever since the I've had to deal with them 3 years ago. I am just a soccer mom who has never and will never commit a crime or do anything illegal but people are apparently afraid of me. They think what I am telling them is just lies. No matter if it's small talk or deep coversation. Do you think it's me or the government that is at fault? Evey Vendetta, not vengence

I propose such an idea because Labour may produce economic policies that benefit the working-class but they are very socially conservative.

My brother has obtained a White House fellowship. We were talking the other night, and he told me he would have the opportunity to ask several key people in the government one question. We already figured one out for President Bush. If you could ask Donald Rumsfeld and Condileeza Rice one question, what would it be? I'm sure he'll figure something out.....but I'm interested in what you all would ask.
