Its not like they want to be illegial! But it is the only way! Staying in their country is just not an option. Just because they are illegial, it doesnt make them bad people. Dont you think if it was so easy for them to become LEGAL they would? People dont have to show such hatred towards them

All that America does is talk about these threats to America but they won't do anything until they are hit welll if the government doesn't do anything like attck the terrorists and leaders in Asia because they are gonna send missiles and missiles from ships and planes they are gonna hit major cities and completely destoye them like NYC, LA , Chicago , MI , HOU, DAL , and other major cities and they will be completely destroyed with in a week if Americas government doesn't do anything so what does the government want america to be destroyed if so the things america is doing now is gonna work so my question is Why doesn't the government do anything if they don't all of america will be destroyed in as long as a year.

This question is based on an answer to an immigration question I responded to and is based on family experience. My dad/grandfather immigrated to the US from Germany during the1930's and were only too willing to exchange their language and many customs in order to become Americans and enjoy all the benefits that entailed. They wanted to become Americans and known as Americans first and foremost(over their German heritage)for all the US offered them economically, politically, etc. that their original home country did not.Why do immigrants from many places now wish to come here and live in isolated communites(language and culturally)rather than embrace the larger American society? Why do so many immigrants now try to maintain as much of their heritage from the places that were so poor to them they needed to emigrate for political, social or economic reasons when, traditionally, immigrants used to come here to "assimilate" into the American "Melting Pot?"Just curious when and why the change?

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Whenever I go to the laundromat, or some other business, I always see some Judge screaming and lecturing somebody.

I have been in court as a litigant and I have worked in the courts and I have never known anyone to rant and carry-on like any of those supposed judges on the television.

Is it more theater and entertainment than law..?

Would you appear before a courtroom t.v. and have a case adjudicated...?

The so called indians here in USA only were called that because Christopher Columbus thought he was landing in India so

1 - why do you think it is politically correct to call you indians or native Americans when you are neither?
2 - What were your ancesters called before we started calling you either one?
I am not trying to be facetious or mean.Someone asked me this and I said I would put it out here.
The reason I put it here is because I knew more people would see it and didn't know what other catagory to put it under.

I'm in the Army right now, been in for nine years, but the regulations keep changing. Can you shave your head BALD after you're in the Army? I know it's in the AR 670-1, but it always changes and www.usapa.com (where the Army Regulations can be viewed) doesn't seem to be working right now.

Reason Being: My girlfriend thinks shaved heads are sexy.

I can understand if you are upset that no WMD's were found, but Saddam wasn't exactly pouring out freedom over his people (mass graves, genocide, you know... fun stuff) So is it okay to overthrow a person who murders his own people on a mass scale, and if not, what would Saddam have had to do to make it "okay" for us to go to war? Please don't just yell out "Well Bush did this..." this question has nothing to do w/ the pres.

Gen. Peter Pace, Commander of the Joint Chief of Staff to president Bush made this statement this past weekend while he was in Iraq that eventually we'll have to give amnesty to people that have killed American soldiers. How does this sit with all you right wing conservatives? You like to demonize any liberals that would say such a thing but I haven't heard any criticism from the right on any talk shows on radio or TV. WHY? You are so fast to criticize democrates or liberals for saying such things. It wasn't a report by someone else saying he said these things. It was him on TV saying we'll have to grant amnesty to these killers while he was in Iraq.. No misinterpretation of his words.

I see questions left and right about how liberals side with terrorists, but it seems to be nothing more than Anne Coulter, un backed, slander.

For the record...I don't like liberal whining. I also hate conservative adoration of themselves. So, this is for conservatives...

Provide me a link where a liberal says they support terrorists....please. The link has to either quote a known liberal for saying this or, if they aren't known, they have to say "I am liberal" or something like that. You can't quote a terrorist and say that terrorist is a liberal.

And supporting them can't simply be opposition to your point of view (against the war, 9/11 is an inside job, don't like lieberman, etc.)

They have to say "I SUPPORT TERRORISM/TERRORISTS...."...you know, even though I wouldn't agree with it, how about anyone in the USA who holds any weight saying "I support Hezbollah".

It is time for everyone to back up their accusations, otherwise you are just bickering schoolyard P U S S I E S.
