"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

Well.....Dont know if it is your question or a statement, but one thing is for sure, there are so many things that we can live without. War, hatred and being ugly to each other are a few of them.
We are born, live our life, and die. And some of us die for our nation and we call it dying for a cause. If we all think and realize that dying for humanity is far bigger than dying for your country, perhaps no one would ever have to die for the country or war for that matter.

Enemies are not like friends. You cannot choose who your enemies are. People who are your true enemies choose it for themselves, and that choice, their choice, is what makes them your enemy. Now, you can choose to ignore their choices and pretend that they are not enemies, but that will only cause you pain.

You do not choose your enemies, but you DO choose how you react to them.
