I've just read his book, and being naive to all the political stuff, the stuff in the book shocked me a bit.
Some of it was a little bizarre, but I never dug myself in the George Bush and Republican/Democratic happenings.
Have you read it? Do you believe what Al Franken says? Is he really exposing the "truth", or is he twisting it?

I've read both Hannity's and Franken's and there really is no comparison. I'm a registered independent and I can pick out the inaccuracies in Frankens' book.
Not only is he incorrect in several areas, but he skews events to lead you to a heavy Democratic view.
Hannity's is strongly republican but it is written with more accuracies.
Both try to sway you toward their party, but Franken's is weak.

One trick to inform if someone is mendacity is to seem at their eyes at the same time as they are feeding you the line. Sounds obvious, I understand, in spite of the undeniable fact that the trick is to work out if the liar's eyes seem upwards and to the right. the reason behind it is that the right fringe of your mind controls creativity; so at the same time as someone is telling a lie, they seek for suggestion from the right side of their mind in order to go back up with a "resourceful" answer to their problem. noted this on a PBS coach once. Nova, i imagine.

I havent read that particular book, but I have listened to him on Air America and I have seen him in person when he did a presentation in Berkeley.

I think he has his own agenda like everyone else, but I would believe a lot more of what he is telling me than say.....savage, o'reilly, or hume....

basically anyone conservative is going to say dont listen to franken and anyone liberal will say listen to him ....

so really you need to form your own opinion about what he says.
If you have a question about anything, fact check it yourself, that is the only real way of finding out the truth!

GOOD LUCK! :)

It is probably a little more accurate than most, but not entirely accurate. He, at least, did a lot of research. I enjoyed " Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot" more, though.
