Or do they prefer to stay cuddled up with nascar in the isolationist ignorant sheltered american blanket? If they do , do they only prefer to travel to places that are mostly while christian places?
if so is it because its too dangerous for them ?

I think it is essential to travel abroad in order to understand different cultures and places. It's too bad more Americans don't. That may be why most are so biased against foreigners, they do not know better.

If we want to experience danger, we don't need to travel to the African jungle: downtown Detroit is much more dangerous.
If we want to be surrounded by little brown people who speak an incomprehensible language, East LA is good for that.
If we want to go back to the Middle Ages, castles are not needed: just travel to the Deep South and talk to people in trailer parks.
We have it all in America!

I can only speak for myself, but I would LOVE to travel abroad. What holds me back is not the danger, it's the expense. Don't have the funds to go where I'd really like to go--Europe--mainly Tuscany! It's a dream, but maybe one day...

I would love to travel again. Tuscany is so beautiful and hospitable. Andorra so special. Have lived in Lisbon and Madrid. London was ok, but I love Italy. I would travel in a heart beat and not to tourista spots. And I forgot Mexico, it's like visiting next door. Guadalajara is my favorite city there.

I've been abroad, what was part of the Communist bloc, Europe and the Middle East, doesn't make me more cultured, just well travelled. My takeaway was most people around the world are very similiar in their wants, desires, and hopes.

Millions of Americans travel the world every year. I have no idea what you're talking about.
