I'd like to see Barack obama or John McKain. i don't want anybody associated with this govt right now to ever be in office such as condi or even Jeb Bush just cuz of George. Barack and John both seem to have good values and are not the extremists that we seen right now running things. people like ned lamont who are only in office by riding an antiwar wave shuld not be in office. also none of the crazy republicans should be in office as we've seen how the extremists of the conservatize side are doing right now. we need someone, whether democrat or republican, who is an american first and not a dem or rep. whoever wins in 08 will have a ton of **** to clean up.

When it comes down to brass tacks, Hillary don't have the stones for the job.
I don't think Jeb can overcome the family stigma.
A third party candidate will be a split for the democrats.
The elections are still over TWO YEARS away, that is not around the corner.
Someone will be introduced onto the national scene in the next 6 to 10 months. They will be portrayed as a uniter, as a new perspective, as a person who can be trusted. They just don't know who it is going to be yet, but they are coming.

So many variable go into politics that choosing or even speculating is difficult. I think youll see a moderate (or someone who professes to be). Most of the AMerican public are moderates and the close to the "center" a candidate gets the better thier chances. If I had to guess id say for the Republicans Mcain and Rice VS Clinton and someone for the Democrats. A lot can change between now and then.

John Edwards, definitely. He has good morals, seems to know what he is doing, and is better than Hillary. Even as a woman, I'm kind of against a woman for President. Men have been doing pretty good since the 1700's... and I want to keep it that way.
Oh, and I kind of think a democrat is going to get it, but I wouldn't be too surprised if another republican made it.

Christopher Walken for president!!!
"It's not too early to be thinking about the future of this country and who's going to lead it. Election after election we're given the "choice" between two unappealing candidates and have no choice but to vote for the one we dislike less. But now, that's about to change.
Stepping up to the forefront of politics is a new type of leader, motivated by his love for his country, not special interest groups. His distinct image and captivating voice you already know, and now it's your chance to make him the leader of the people, for the people, by the people. That's right... Christopher Walken is running for President.
Now, at this early stage of the campaign, is when the grass-roots voters like us can really influence the candidates we'll see in the elections. So take a few minutes to visit the Walken 2008 Home Page at http://www.walken2008.com, read about the man and his ideas, and send them a message of your support. This is how the system should work, and now's your chance to have your voice. Don't let it slip away!"

The Democrats will be represented by Hillary Clinton or Al Gore. The Republicans will be hard pressed to post anyone with conservative credentials.... Rudy Giuliani, no.. maybe, John McCain... In any case it looks like the Republicans are floundering. Advantage Hillary.

I am a Republican and would like to see a Republican take office again, but if that does not happen I hope that the Democratic winner is Barack Obama. He will make a truly good President and will likely be the first African American President.

Pay attention to the gay marriage issue. If another court rules (in late 2007 or any time in 2008) like the one in Massachusetts did (in late 2003), then a Republican will win. If the courts continue making rulings like the recent one in NY did, then a Democrat will win.

We can't afford another republican president ,unless we get rid of the republican congress in November. Ones I wouldn't want to see in are Kerry, Gore, Clinton ( Hillary and Bill), Frist, Santorum, and any one by the name of Bush, just to name a few.
