If you listen to the rhetoric going back and forth between the US and Iran, one gets the definite impression that the US administration is trying to get the public opinion on their side to conduct, either directly or through proxies, a military adventure against Iran? (Whew....quite a sentence...or two.) What do you think?

i agree ... and with the public threats by iran towards israel i seriously doubt israel will ever allow them to go to far with their program ... its understood i think that either the US or Israel will take out their capability ... it wont be a full invasion or anything ... im sure they will strike back someway but we will carpet bomb a few places until they chill... then leave them in an utter blockade to sweat it out for awhile ...

Ever since the Iraq war started I've thought that Iran looks like it's in a vise between Afganistan and Iraq. Then you have a another between Israel and Iraq as well with Syria in between.

Iran will never have a nuclear power plant.

We need to encourage Israel to nuke them. Perhaps we can toss some phony intelligence their way. I really believe this is what's going to happen. This way we (the US) get what we want - Iran out of the picture - and we don't look like a bully to the rest of the world.

We can easily defend Israel, by saying they felt threatened and had overwhelming evidence of an Iranian plot against them. This way we just influence Russia and China to stay out of it. We can simply say it's a regional war that Muslims and Jews have been fighting for years.

I think this is the best answer and the path we are headed down.

Check this out. This dude predicted 9/11, the JFK assasination, Bush becoming elected, and the rise and fall of Hitler. He says the US will fight against Iran and North Korea. Press sample chapter at the top.

Hahahahaha, that is one hopless hope. You do not have enough materiel. The US army is already stretched too thin with Iraq which is not even as bis as Texas. Iran is much bigger, and it would not be just Iran any more. Boy, do you need to study

I think that every Republican would loose in Nov. if they tried before then... and then every Republican left would loose in 2008...

the debt would be 20 trill in 5 years if we did that... and we would basically have to start a draft...

what do you think this whole pathetic exercise in lebanon has been about??? 2 kidnapped israeli soldiers??? give me a break-israel has been doing prisoner exchanges for years...it's all been an attempt to get iran to strike out at israel, thereby giving us the pretext to attack...it's so transparent...

If Bush thought for one second he could get away with it, he wouldn't hesitate. But even he and his cadre of yes-man cronies know that it is simply not feasible politically, militarily or financially,
