these people have been fighting for 1000 years over the same piece of land. Should we really be involved in a war that started before America was a nation? Will anybody win? Is there ANY solution?

country, (U.S.A.) then why it is that the minute something happens like it is now happening in Cuba, would you want to go back to a third-world country and again struggle as you had in the past? I mean, you came here to make a better life for your family and/or you, why go back to sturggle instead of giving this country the same respect it gave to you by opening their doors to you.

I am hispanic so i am very curious on how other's feel

The liberals have perpetrated countless lies and distortions concerning President Bush and his record in the last five years--practically every time they open ther mouths, it's to slander him or someone in his Administration. And yet, not one man or woman surrounding him has stood up to defend him forcefully, least of all Bush himself.

I noticed the same thing during the Clinton years; even though the attacks on him were generally on the mark, the people who should have been his biggest defenders stuck their heads in the sand.

What is it? Lack of loyalty? Selfishness? Spinelessness? I really want to know.

This soft approach pisses me off. Why do some people in Western countries think it's so humane to be soft towards criminals ? Don't we owe victims of rape, murder, drug abuse, child pron etc. that we severely punish the offenders ? I heard in Belgium child sex offenders even get days off from prison...what a country !

Today's world wants to be all lovey dubby and let everyone do what they want without accountability. I think you have to address a threat when it's small or else it will become big. No UN peace keepers will stop the hatered flowing from the Ji-Had inspired muslims. Nor will they stop the repeaded attacks on Israel, the US, and other western countries. I think the only option we have is violence/war, sometimes unfortunantly thats all you can do if you want to survive. I wish it wasn't that way but I don't see peace talks and economic sanctions changing a culture.

One of their main policies today states how they want to spread democracy to people who don’t have the freedom it brings. But they are responsible for removing democratic movements in nations such as Iran when it seeked to control its national resources or whenever it is convenient to have a dictator who is pro-American.
In today’s age it is becoming harder to fully control the facts which the public can access, all this info is out there and in history books, so when will countries be held accountable for their acts and stop trying to delude us all.

Oh and by the way, I know the British were part of Operation Ajax, but this is a question about the United States actions. Its not a debate, its a question.

I have heard complaints that the US looks weak to other countries when people who oppose the president speak up and voice their opposition. How do you know it makes us look weak unless you are from another country? If there is anyone answering this question from a foreign country, please tell us how the US looks weak to the world. Republicans and Democrats: No party bashing, please! Honest answers from foreigners are appreciated.
