The Isreali strategy is sound!
Invasion and subsequent occupation is a big fat headache!
What they are doing is forcing the terrorists to use up all their rockets. It's the only way to stop them. Run them out of ammunition. Period.

I think they are in some sense trying to prevent a full-scale conflict with the government of Lebanon, or an invasion that might trigger an armed response from Syria and/or Iran, not to mention potentially weaken the peace they have with Egypt and Jordan. If Israel were to use her full military might to invade Lebanon, there would almost certainly be a full-scale regional war that would engulf the region and very probably draw in other nations, not to mention embolden a lot of other bad actors who would use the crisis as a distraction to cover their nefarious activites, such as North Korea. Restraint from the Israelis is extremely critical at this stage.

I believe we are all God's children. I also have a logistical mind.
At one point I thought Israel could pull out of Gaza and the West
Bank. Knowing that the people there would think with vengeance, instead of wisdom. Thereby attacking Israel, and giving Israel the excuse to clobber them.
I'm not saying this was Israel's plan. It was just a scenario I myself had considered. And even if it was. The ones who attacked must carry thier own share of the responsibilty, for
falling for it.

Israel did not do anything clever in this war:
Israel just declared it will swap POW with Hezbollah.
Was it smart to start a war if they are going to swap POW at end.
Israel put more than !/3 of the Israeli population in danger for the last 4 weeks was that smart on the part of Israeli government.

No because they are still having deaths in the army. Also hizballah kicked them out of bint jbeil (israel destroyed a monastry) and stopped them from going into lebanons border quite a few times. Allah Nasrallah and Hizballah hope the massacre the zionists like they are doing to us lebanese.
