Is the new public awareness of this a sign of politics maturing ?

I have heard that some political observers are seeing a repeat of 1994, when Clinton lost Congress to the Republicans.

Here is my problem, I have been told for most of my life that I would need help getting pregnant. I have problems and only one ovary. I was married in Feb of this year and started a new job in Jan. I found out last month that I’m pregnant! It’s a miracle to me, I’m 29 and to just get pregnant out of the blue is just amazing! But we were not planning on trying to have kids for about 2 or 3 years. Here is the problem, my coworker and boss are unhappy that I’m pregnant. My co worker will not talk to me unless spoken to and is telling everyone behind my back that she is unhappy about this. I went to my boss and she said to tell the truth she is not happy about it either! Before I was hired here my position went unfilled for about 4months. This coworker had to do my job and her own. My boss said it was horrible for both of them and they are not looking forward to be being out for 6weeks. Now I’m not going to be out till MARCH of next year! This has been going on for 3weeks now. My boss said I needed to understand where they are coming from. I wish I had not told anyone but cant undue that! And I know my coworker who has been married for 9years wants to have a baby, I don’t know if she is also upset that she hasn’t gotten pregnant and I am. I was tiptoeing around her for the 1st 2weeks but now I’m getting sick of this and she has started telling my boss my work is slacking! I do not know for sure that it was her who told this but I’m 99% sure it was. I have had horrible morning sickness and extreme fatigue but I have not missed a day at work. I do not believe my work has suffered but I think it’s understandable if I’m running to the restroom several times a day that I’m not going to be at my desk always and I may not get as much done. I have lost 6pounds in the last 2weeks from being sick and not being able to eat, and this stress isn’t helping. How do I handle this situation?

To Whom It May Concern

I was run over by the truth one day.
Ever since the accident I've walked this way
So stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

Heard the alarm clock screaming with pain,
Couldn't find myself so I went back to sleep again
So fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

Every time I shut my eyes all I see is flames.
Made a marble phone book and I carved out all the names
So coat my eyes with butter
Fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

I smell something burning, hope it's just my brains.
They're only dropping peppermints and daisy-chains
So stuff my nose with garlic
Coat my eyes with butter
Fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

Where were you at the time of the crime?
Down by the Cenotaph drinking slime
So chain my tongue with whisky
Stuff my nose with garlic
Coat my eyes with butter
Fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

You put your bombers in, you put your conscience out,
You take the human being and you twist it all about
So scrub my skin with women
Chain my tongue with whisky
Stuff my nose with garlic
Coat my eyes with butter
Fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

If you are convinced, what proofs do u have other than word of Media and word of Bush and his lovers? Do u have one concrete proof? If u dont have it, and u believe Bush has it, why has he kept it hidden from us?

Have you seen the documentary 'In plane sight' ? It has video evidences proving that it was all a set up. After seeing this can you trust the media again? Can u trust the government again?

So many people are willing to say such vile things about the President in this day and age, it just makes me wonder if anyone really respects the office anymore. This is not aimed at either political party as both sides have said some pretty offensive things. For Republicans I think it really began with Mr Clinton, as I don't remember such hate filled comments about Mr. Carter. For democrats it started with Nixon. I know many Democrats say it started with Bush, but they are either too young, or lack the historical perspective required to remember the slanderings of Mr. Nixon and Mr. Reagan. Or perhaps they have just forgotten the Cowboy will destroy the world mentaility of the 80's. I support the right to dessent regarding issues and people, but not rude slander.

After the cold war ended there has been a lot of fear mongering but now it seams that the United States has settled on a 'War on Terror' to try and make world politics a case of with us or against us again.
Just look at how they are allowing Israel to continue its attack on Lebanon because it agrees with their 'defense against terrorists' right to attack other countries.
So at any rate, is it a good thing to have a polarized world again? Do we really need another political climate that will spawn countless little wars and violations of International Law? (Look at Vietnam, Cambodia, Nicaragua etc and then now at Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan)
