I'm very happy for you. I just got an electric bill that I can barely pay just to keep cool in the 100 degree heat. My company pays me just enough to barely get by. Wonder how they expect me to get to work when gas prices keep going up--well, everything keeps going up and I haven't had a raise in two and a half years despite the best evaluation I've had in the fifteen years I've been a security guard. And all because the big fracking corporation wants to line it's pockets with frivolous programs and endless training over and over and over!!!But as long as you're comfortable, I'm happy.

Rationing energy will never work. When you have a growing society, you need to increase supply. This is economics 101. The reason why we have high prices is we do not increase supply. People want power, but do not want the power lines in their backyard. Conservation does not work. This does not mean that we cannot use energy wiser like more efficient appliances. The appliances must be cost effective though.

if energy was to be rationed you would have people out of energy at some points b/c they use more than others. i just don't think it would work at all.
