Shouldn't this have been made permanent? Is there a reason they only let it go for 25 more years?

Well not really a leak more like a flood. This is considered to be the worst ever in the Mediteranian Sea. What do you think about Isreal blowing it up? Do you think it was intentional?

Even if you like Bush, do you really like seeing our economy going down the drain, what if we go into a depression again? Fine and dandy for the rich but what are the rich gonna do when they have the poor rioting outside in the street? Treat the poor and middle class like dogs?

Do you think it is just to hire Illegals just because they will work for three dollars an hour. Are you doing it to support the Illegal or to make more money for your business? Because if you were really trying to support the Illegal don't you think it is more supportive to pay them actual minimum wage?

Its such a shame that those children were hurt today...don't the Lebanese people share the blame with Hezbollah and Israel for allowing this to happen?

Just curious as to if anyone knows exactly what "rights," civil liberties, protections, etc. are granted to those that are in the USA illegally? Do they/should they have the same protections, due process, etc. as American citizens? What are some of the legal basis for the protections that are awarded to illegals? Does the Bill of Rights and/or Constitution outline rights for illegal immigrants or do they derive from other sources like the courts? Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this?

I think we could be looking at a prelude to WWIII and I think that much of what is going on is Iran's way of testing the waters to see what the reaction internationally might be. You may disagree with me and I sincerely invite your input on the debate but I almost feel sorry for the Isreali's and Hezbollah guerillas in Lebanon. They undoubtedly have always had gripes over land issues; however, I don't think Hezbollah would have instigated anything right now if it hadn't been pushed and manipulated by Iran. As such both Isreal and the Hezbollah guerillas in Lebanon are being used as pawns and innocent people on both sides are dying. Already it has been somewhat effective as other Muslim dominated nations are starting to stand in criticism of Isreal, as is the UN. So again it appears to be Isreal, the US and UK. Moreover, Iran is already seeing the US/UK becoming bogged down in Iraq and is loving it. So, if hostilities spread and intensified, who else would join in and on what side.

http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html
This study is one of the first to estimate the total impact of illegal immigration on the federal budget. Based on Census Bureau data, this study finds that, when all taxes paid (direct and indirect) and all costs are considered, illegal households created a net fiscal deficit at the federal level of more than $10 billion in 2002. The Center for Immigration Studies also estimate that, if there was an amnesty for illegal aliens, the net fiscal deficit would grow to nearly $29 billion.

Among the findings:
Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of almost $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household.
