A man has backed you down a long dark alley, you cannot escape. He is your wife's(women, imagine a women that is your husbans' ex) ex. He(or she for women) wants to kill you, no matter what. He has a knife in his hand. You have a 9mm in your pocket. What do you do? Would you shoot this person, yes or no. Nothing else. No answers that you would scale a 15 foot wall while this person is only ten feet away.

I asked this question already, but i was to vague about it. Anyways, i wanted to know how all types of taxes work? I always hear about people complaining that taxes are too high, whats the problem with taxes? isn't it high because we're in war?

Another question i had was how gas works in America, basically why are we running out of gas and why is the price so high? are there other places to get gas besides Iraq?

What would the anti-war people say about the bombing of Japan during W.W. 2 Hunreds of thousands of civilans died during the fire bombing.

What about the poor German civilans? Should the United States have left them alone too so no civilans are killed.

Maybe there should have been a cease fire after Pearl Harbor, that way no lifes would have been lost and Japan would have rulled Asia. Germany could have signed a cease fire after after taking France.

Civilians die during war.

the following is a link to a yahoo "question" posted yesterday. it is a direct THREAT against my husband.
YES ive reported it. has yahoo done anything? No...and WHY? ive seen some ppl get banned or reported for using the word Hell...or telling someone to "shut up". but THIS takes the cake as far as violence and hatered is concerned!
wouldn't you be upset?
my hubby (whether he supports this "war" or not) signed on that dotted line, and as such is doing his job. he may not like it, i know i HATE it.
but what give this guy the right to make a comment like this and not be accountable for his actons that SO obviously violate the Y!A code of conduct and rules.?

Nostradamus said that there would be 3 anti-christs. the first being naploean, the second being Hitler, and the third being "Mabus". Could George W. Bush be Mabus? He's trying to take over the world like hitler and napolean but he's doing it in a different way.

Were there instances in the past where, to deter suicide bombers, the policy was for that government to kill the bombers' families? Since suicide bombers often thought their acts would benefit their families, this acted as a good deterrent?

My cousin has lived here for 5 years and meets all the basic requirements in order to apply for a US citizenship. However, he has told me that he needs proof that he has payed his taxes for the last 5 years. And during those 5 years, he didn't work. Is it true that immigration looks at this type of stuff? He has also told me that he needs two of my relatives to cosign for him. Is there anything of tihs sort to deal with during immigration?

If you do not vote or do not know how your reps vote, don't complain. Instead of complaining, be pro active. Email your congressmen and sign up for MegaVote. Both are free and MegaVote will email you on EVERY issue your reps votes on. They even explain what the vote is about. DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE.

Why does the world express outrage when Israel hits back? Aren't accidental civilian casualties to be expected when Hezbollah shoots rockets from neighborhoods? Why aren't critics of Israel upset at Hezbollah?

Hypothetically, let’s say I’m golfing and I’m in the fairway, someone hits from another direction and hits me and I receive an injury (use your imagination). Can I sue (with a chance of winning) the golf course or the actual golfer themselve? Or is it once I step onto the course I have acknowledged that the course will not be liable for any injury acquired while golfing, same to the golfer who hit me?
