The Israeli's miss the old days, when they could indiscriminately shoot people who could only throw rocks. They shell innocents deliberately, just to re-live the time when they had no opposition.

Uhm I'd just like to point out to everybody saying that Hezbollah and other terrorist networks hide behind civilians: That is true, but until it is proven in concreted evidence that among those 100 civilians that were Hezbollah terrorists, Israel had no right to attack a UN base. The United Nations is a peacekeeping force and it had every right to offer shelter to them.
Is it OK for Palestinian homes to be turned into military bases for Israel? Is it OK for Israel to destroy a building in a known civilian area because Hezbollah had fired rockets "nearby". In conflict there will always be some forms of civilian casualties, but I believe that Israel is forcing the belief that within every civilian group there are Hezbollah terrorists and you're just falling for that propaganda.
Israel believes it can throw its weight around the Middle East because it has protection in whatever form you may call it from the US. Until the US applies pressure on the Israeli government to call for a ceasefire it will continue to attack whomsoever it chooses, and no doubt innocent victims will be caught in the crossfire.

It was an UN observers post and the refugees were followed by the Hezbollah who also were hiding and firing rocket from there. As long as those cowards use innocents as human shields their is going to be collateral damage. Is Israel supposed to just take a pounding and have their people killed because of the cowardliness of the Hezbollah? They were firing rockets from the back of Ambulances for goodness sake. Please read both sides before you make and rash accusations.

Because Hezbollah likes to hide behind innocents so that if Israel DARES defend herself innocents are killed. What that part of the world needs is a rebirth of freedom. If you understand Arabic I recommend this site:

Why does Hezbollah throw bombs and kidnap people?
Same reasons. Because it's war and they hate and fear the other side.
It's quite simple really.
And Al Jazeera is about as biased as Fox News when it comes to what is really going on :)

I don't know about 100 civilians but it is true that they are killing a lot of innocent people. Only terrorists and murderers do that
