You pretty much named all of the things he did...and plus made the office look horrible and not worthy of respect.

He was probably the best president that I have seen in the last 40 years at the business of running the country, he was responsive to the people and he was a fiscal conservative. He left Bush with a balanced budget, he and Gore had cut the size of the government, and he was respected and well received all around the world. I know this won't be best answer but it is the honest one, and that is hard to do to a dishonest question.

Republicans are self-serving and only care about making their "base" rich. Iraq is a mistake - a waste of our military and using our tax dollars to enrich oil & defense companies. True threats like Iran and N. Korea were ignored. Republicans thought it would be a cakewalk into Iraq to make some bucks - they were wrong.
So many of our troops have died.
Health care issues and jobs at home are being ignored.
Look at the debt.
Things were much better under Clinton and he actually care about the citizens of this country.
Republicans certainly don't have morality cornered.
I don't have time to go on and on about all the idiotic and self-serving things the Republicans do.

Bosnia, had two friends serving there for seven of Ole' Bill's 8 years as president, hm, served more like hands tied. Somalia is an absolute disgrace, an atrocity happen there and we ran away.
Which showed the world what our real weakness is Democrats.
They buy and large are Socialist. To my knowledge I know of No fully Socialist government that is or has been successful.
The last good Democratic President was the last good one and Bill well he for me personally could prove
to be much worse than any president, he could prove to be our saxophone playing Nero.

Compared to Bush, Clinton is a towering genius, and a greater patriot. The trouble in the mideast is a fiasco caused by Bush. If you took a TV reporter, and camera crew anywhere in the Mideast, and asked any Islamic/Muslim person: "The trouble in your country, who's fault is it: George Bush, or Bill Clinton"? Then ask: "The economic hardships that Islamic/Muslims face today, who's at fault: George Bush, or Bill Clinton?" Then the reporter should find a Muslim protest march, and ask one of the marchers: "Why are you marching: George Bush, or Bill Clinton"? See what they say.

Well, my personal reasoning for disliking Clinton is as follows:
Clinton cut back Defense Department spending. My father works for the Defense Department (civilian). His job got cut, as well as several other of his friends (including a co-worker with a newborn baby.) My dad was out of work for 8 months and it was the absolute worst time of our lives. All four of us kids got nothing for Christmas, except what little I could afford at my part time job (meaning I really did get nothing except for my friends.) We couldn't buy clothes, school supplies, etc. On top of it all, my dad still had to pay my mom alimony........... sheesh.
It's a personal reason, because I'm more democratic leaning anyway.

The U.S. economy was the best it's ever been under Clinton. He got rid of the deficit, and put the country "in the black." I remember actually looking forward to seeing my investment statements. I would rather have a president that has a little romantic dalliance, than one who sends young Americans to their deaths, or be horribly maimed, in a worthless war that will lead us nowhere.
